I found out that fivem was using a older version of gta 5 and I switched it to the one more up to date and it fixed it for me video was helpful thx❤️

yo man so it all went good but when i clicked in citizenfx i couldnt see any gta or anything it just said onedrive dokuments it only had the ivpath thing
when i click the application data and then click citizenfx it doesnt say gta so i cant change it to GTAVV it just says users/downloads pls help

What seemed to work for me was adding the “SavedBuildNumber=“ of whatever server I was trying to join! So for my case I added the number 2944 and it booted that specific server right up

For me it doesn't work i think bc, when i change everything then i try to launch fivem it makes me select the game and i have to select gtav when i do it resets the file
so i just don't know what to do
