Great Review Besty, warts and all. Looks a brilliant Hotel as you say for the Family, but like you I do enjoy a pleasant Breakfast experience to set me up or a day in Patts
It really is. The over 12's area is superb, and very relaxing. BUT, as you can see they've got check in, and especially breakfast ALL WRONG. Therefore it's a mixed review from BFB.
Top quality hotel if someone else is paying 😆 Love the adult only areas.
Wow. That place has it all. I dont think it's for me but still very impressive. I was wondering why they would put this family/kid themed resort in central Pattaya but I guess it's on the north end above the dolphin roundabout? I hope Pattaya remains the playground for lonely old men like myself.

Brave move to put a hotel aimed squarely at families in the middle of Pattaya.
It's a strange choice for sure. It's nowhere near the middle of Pattaya though it's past the Dolphin roundabout in Naklua.

Thanks for putting together this video. I couldn't help but notice (you mentioned it twice) that the hotel is catering to the Chinese market. I'd estimate 0 to no guests staying there currently are from Mainland China. From what I can see and hear at the breakfast buffet, It looks majority like Bangkok Thais.
Your estimate is wrong. There were 6 or 7 tour busses with writing in Chinese on the cards at the front of them parked right outside reception. There may well be some Bangkok Thais too, but from what I saw there were many more Chinese.
@@BigFatBesty Thanks for getting back to me. I'm very surprised as I was under the impression that there were heavy restrictions on leaving/returning from Mainland China.
That's a very good point Durian. That would explain why they are all in big tour groups. Perhaps they can only go on government authorised tours. I didn't see any straying from the group and venturing outside of the hotel

Nice review. This place is without a doubt a place I would've love to stay at as a child. I'll gladly pass on this hotel...no alcohol says it all.( ok, after watching the video to the end and seeing that age restricted rooftop pool, maybe I can see myself there for 1 or 2 days 😎)

Hi André. I don't know if this one is guest friendly. With so many kids around, I wouldn't have felt comfortable bringing a guest in.

Good review but this Hotel is not Monger friendly and no alcohol policy would make it completely impossible for me to stay there. Hope you enjoyed it and look forward to future videos
Hi Martin. It's definitely not monger friendly. The no alcohol thing I can live with. It certainly isn't ideal that the hotel doesn't sell alcohol but to be honest, I didn't drink in the hotel bars at either page 10 or baraquda on this trip. Alcohol isn't banned. You can bring it in from the 711.

I didn't particularly appreciate that the water is freezing cold in the sky pool and water park. Also, I wouldn't say I liked that the water park closes at 8pm. The onsen is really nice.
That suite is excellent but the amount of children would not make for a relaxing holiday

@@BigFatBesty Strongly urge you to try a condo from Airbnb and stay in Riviera or reflection jomtien. multiple pools jacuzzi's gym pool tables ect ect and no one bothers you if you bring someone back. the majority of hotels can not compete on facilities. i normally book the more luxurious 2 bedrooms and up.
Much as I don't really like Naklua much. I don't really like Jomtien much either. If I manage to do a 45 day trip I will definitely get a condo for a month, but it will be in central pattaya I think.
@@BigFatBesty I see harder to recommend somewhere there because I'm kind of the opposite. I like the more quiet areas and traveling into central for the 70 baht it now costs on bolt. Edge looks good in that area but the rooms are normally a little smaller than usual if the condo is new
Its a no no hotel...plenty of hotels around pattaya not this one thanks bfb

Great insight here Tom. Wondered what's it like when referring mates who visit... Blackwoods was good for one pal and others will stay where you have covered but .... Whilst this has some nice things ... as you say the it'd drive the single traveler nuts.
