    Lord knows I needed this after a lifetime of church gaslighting ,bypassing and being told to 'speak the word' when I barely had the strength to get out of bed

    @13:40 Thank You! Because I usually feel like it’s my fault that I’m depressed. I can accept I have asthma but was having a hard time accepting I have depression.

    All my pastors always tell me depression is negative thoughts, and i must stop thinking negative and antidepression is not acceptable.
    Been depressed now for 40 years.

    Ugh, I struggle so much with the idea that because of my sinfulness I got a brain tumour and brain cancer at my 19 years old, I am sorry, how in the world??

      horrible. I was told my aunt died of cancer because I didn't pray hard enough.

    Dr anita has said on many occasions that her parents would pretty much do exorcisms in the basement. It makes sense if her sister woke up seeing demons. They made her the problem instead of looking at the whole picture of what CAUSED her mental illness. No wonder she went crazy and struggled with addiction. Sounds like no one got to the ROOT.
