I've been a long-time, silent subscriber of your channel, Mel, but today I was overjoyed that you featured a COACH bag in your list, I had to comment. 🥰 I am a huge COACH fan and I agree with you that COACH bags are of high quality. Their leather ages well. Bags last years and years (especially the retail ones). The best thing is their price point. You get the quality or better of "luxury" brands without breaking the bank. ❤

😍😍 Alexander McQueen curve bag O M G ever since I saw the actress wearing it on the Kdrama Hometown Cha Cha Cha 🤩 I've been thinking about it. Love the colour and a thicker strap of the Mulberry bayswater. And, if your are really going to then you should keep the mini backpack Mel 💖💖
I have the Balenciaga bag in a bright yellow and love it. It is so different from other pieces in my collection. I appreciate how it has the look of a basket bag but it isn’t rough against any fabrics. It is easy to keep clean and you don’t have to worry about light rain, etc. The inside pocket is actually made with a faux leather not genuine leather on my version, so I believe it is a fully vegan back for those that prefer no animal products.

That’s a good point! When I tried it on with my dress it seemed fine but yes if you are wearing something more delicate like silk it could snag the material….hmmm you got me thinking but great question!! Xx

I love the Prada Crystal bag because the crystals are glued for that reason… so I was wondering if the wang crystals were set In metal pieces or glued .. If they are set I’d worry a bit .. since it is a casual bag it could of course still be worn with cotton materials

You haven't mentioned brands like Senreve, Strathberry, Polene, Parisa wang, Demellier etc. These brands have some beautiful bags under $1000 aud, with amazing quality and designs.

I like to see different sorts of bag from different brands.👍 For me, luxury is NOT a matter of high prices but high quality of design, craftsmanship, leather, hardware, ... And you're right the details count... I would keep the "bling speedy" 💖 because I'm not a backpack user.
I have several Aspinal bags and they are all fantastic. My husband bought me the most beautiful Mayfair for Christmas. We are in good company. HRH Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge has been wearing this brand for years. 🥰

The Tory Burch small perry tote is about the same size and a great alternative for the LV on the go tote in the pm size. It may even be a tad bigger which I like as sometimes I feel I’d like slightly more room in my OTG pm. Tory Burch leather is so great also!

If I had to keep three I would pick the Mulberry, too cute if it can fit at least a phone and essentials, Coach tote and the mini crystal duffle. The duffle bag is so different. Also, what are your thoughts on Kate Spade bags? and what are your thoughts on the small darley from Mulberry... I find it looks like a Chanel WOC if you get it in the quilted version. I used to buy Coach all the time. I’ve always been very happy with my Coach bags and they’re such a good price point! My first Coach, I bought in 2005 or so? is still in almost brand new condition. I definitely recommend checking Coach out, especially since they’re making styles similar to more expensive brands - and is better than buying a counterfeit lux brand bag that would be a similar price point as an authentic Coach! The Cassie, which is similar to the LV Pochette Metis was my most recent purchase and is such an great daily bag you don’t need to baby.
I loooove the Coach tote! I didn't know it existed. I have the Cassie which is my everyday bag, and I can really see this tote becoming my work bag. Thanks so much for featuring more affordable bags on your channel, Mel!
If you like checking out different brands. Maybe try coccinelle, furla, ted baker, campomaggi and fredsbruder 🤗 do really like Coach bags, too. I don't have a ted baker yet, but am eyeing two and I am happy with the quality with the other brands. I also want to check out taschendieb wien - their bags look fun
I think you should keep the wang backpack style. You don’t have any backpacks and this is the closest and I love all the different fabrics used. The duffel style is adorable and at that price point, maybe keep it for Ms. S???

I believe I got the same color for that Tory Burch tote. It’s called clam shell though I chose the larger version as my work tote. The color is absolutely to die for and it’s absolutely one of my best purchases last year
I love so many of these, but special shout out to the coach tote, and the Tory Burch tote, as these often run under $500 AUD, which is far more realistic a price for average woman in Australia to spend on a new bag.

This was really good and so informative. I definitely like seeing bags, and SLGs, from less expensive but still very good quality brands. My favourite three are the Mayfair bag, I have that one in the large size and it’s a beautiful bag, the Coach Tote, that one looks stunning and very practical, and the Mulberry one. My least favourite three are the McQueen jam jar and the two with the chrystals. Chrystals look beautiful on an evening bag but on a backpack and a duffel bag? You have to be joking.

I immediately fell in love with the Balenciaga tote bag. It would be great for the beach or on holiday! I don't like either of the bling bags because anyone can take some e6000 and stick some crystals on it. But without bling, I like both. I like the shape and leather accent of the backpack, but the duffel shape is also very nice. Bags 3 ( pink) and 2 ( black aspinal) were 😍. Probably what I'd be most likely to buy.

My top three would be the Coach, Aspinal of London and the Mulberry bag in that order because of the value that you are getting with the price point. I am not a fan of backpacks but I would definitely chose it over the speedy shaped back. The leather and structure of the mini backpack gives off a more premium and different vibe. My favorites are the Alexander Wang duffle bag (backpack is cute but I'm not a backpack person), the mulberry in that colour is so pretty and either the balenciaga bag, coach tote or tory Burch tote. I own the exact same black croc midi Mayfair bag. LOVE it and use it all the time! It’s super cute as a cross body, too. The little open pocket in the back holds my iPhone mini perfectly for easy access.

If you like checking out different brands. Maybe try coccinelle, furla, ted baker, campomaggi and fredsbruder 🤗 do really like Coach bags, too. I don't have a ted baker yet, but am eyeing two and I am happy with the quality with the other brands. I also want to check out taschendieb wien - their bags look fun

I think you should keep the wang backpack style. You don’t have any backpacks and this is the closest and I love all the different fabrics used. The duffel style is adorable and at that price point, maybe keep it for Ms. S???

I believe I got the same color for that Tory Burch tote. It’s called clam shell though I chose the larger version as my work tote. The color is absolutely to die for and it’s absolutely one of my best purchases last year

I love so many of these, but special shout out to the coach tote, and the Tory Burch tote, as these often run under $500 AUD, which is far more realistic a price for average woman in Australia to spend on a new bag.

This was really good and so informative. I definitely like seeing bags, and SLGs, from less expensive but still very good quality brands.
My favourite three are the Mayfair bag, I have that one in the large size and it’s a beautiful bag, the Coach Tote, that one looks stunning and very practical, and the Mulberry one.
My least favourite three are the McQueen jam jar and the two with the chrystals. Chrystals look beautiful on an evening bag but on a backpack and a duffel bag? You have to be joking.

I don't like either of the bling bags because anyone can take some e6000 and stick some crystals on it. But without bling, I like both. I like the shape and leather accent of the backpack, but the duffel shape is also very nice.
Bags 3 ( pink) and 2 ( black aspinal) were 😍. Probably what I'd be most likely to buy.

My top three would be the Coach, Aspinal of London and the Mulberry bag in that order because of the value that you are getting with the price point. I am not a fan of backpacks but I would definitely chose it over the speedy shaped back. The leather and structure of the mini backpack gives off a more premium and different vibe. Sadly the leather quality of Mulberry bags went down over the years. For this reason I always prefer their heritage or vintage bags, because their leather is fantastic..
