I like she adds straps to the toiletry pouches. Some people are snobby and say it's tacky because people do that when they can't afford an actual LV bag. That is obviously not the case with Mel.

@@hep8008 you don’t need to think I’m creative but I think it’s helpful to show different ways you can change up the look of your bag (be it simple or not). I mean I think the multi pochette looks pretty different but each to their own :)

Mel, can you please do a video about the weight of various bags? I'm in the market for 2-3 mid-sized, leather, structured, everyday bags but the heavy weight of some I've tried have put me off. By the time I fill the bags with my stuff I think they'd weigh a ton to lug around each day!

That wallet insert is a really good idea. WOCs are so much more expensive than a wallet without strap.
I just looked at Chanel. You can get a long wallet for about $1700 and the WOCs are over $4000!
Thank you darls! Yes I know right? You can apply this with most designer brands but Chanel there is a significant increase. Same thing with their card holders, you can buy one for about 600-800 but their card holders with chains are 2500-3k . Might as well save yourselves some money for practically the same look xx

Omg Mel, I never understood the appeal of the Pochette Metis because it's always looked so ugly to me (sorry to those to who love it!), but you totally changed my opinion after showing it with that shoulder chain strap!! It totally elevates the look and makes it so elegant and professional! Never thought that swapping out the original strap would make such a huge difference, wow! The combination of the long, wide strap and the giant, structured box of a body has always made the Metis look really grandma-y and dated to me as a hip-level bag-- it just never appealed to my personal taste, unfortunately. But I'm seriously considering getting one now thanks to this!!
Also, that orange Onatah Fleurs bag from your mother-in-law is absolutely GORGEOUS!! Please consider wearing it more (post-lockdown) even though it's not your typical style! The silhouette and color look AMAZING on you!! That orange is so so sooo flattering and really pulls together that simple white top + jeans outfit to make you look even younger than you already do! Must be the extra brightening effect of that wonderful color. Love that it's also such an understated bag from far away -- bright, yes, but the suede really camouflages the usual monogram and makes the LV flowers look like little non-descript flowers to the undiscerning eye (from a distance).
It's amazing to think that when Miss S inherits your bags, some of them will be three generations old :) Could you do a video on all the bags/other items that were passed down to you from your mother-in-law? That would be so interesting and meaningful to watch, especially if you inherited home goods like teacups, dishes, furniture, and artwork that you guys still use!
As for my own LV wishlist, I've been after the Iena MM in damier ebene and the Saumur 30 in damier ebene on the preloved market. I guess I lean a little more on the practical than whimsical side when it comes to bags hehe :) Still patiently hunting for the right price, but the search is part of the joy of the hunt! 😁 Maybe I'll also add the Pochette Metis with that Samorga chain to my list now heh heh

I love LV’s SLGs but there’s only 3 of their bags that I like and you have two of those, the Pochette Métis, although I prefer the leather ones, and the Capucines. The gallet with the python handle is stunning.
The Multi-Pochette totally changed the look when you added the top handle and chain strap. I think it it better than the fabric strap. ☺️ I love your BB collection, esp. the purple one. The Alma BB World Tour is actually on my wishlist. 🥰
