The University of KwaZulu-Natal’s Centre for Creative Arts, and the JOMBA! Contemporary Dance Experience presents their fourth annual edition of the JOMBA! MASIHAMBISANE DIALOGUES #4, a free three-day online dance colloquium on TH-cam which runs from 22 to 24 May 2024.

TURBA: A new journal for the emerging study of live arts curation
Dena Davida (Canada)
TURBA is a new journal that negotiates histories of the study and practice of live arts curation. Dena Davida introduces the journal and how the journal team imagined the initial form and content for TURBA with Berghahn Journals, and how they formulated their mandate and ethical perspectives as an artivist publication. They will discuss (for future writers): what to know about submission, their editorial process for academic texts, transcribed conversations, and other kinds of critical writing.
