@@KubanKevin yes I have this phone and the original iPhone but it’s So sad that Lg did not do more with this phone like real third party app support as soon as the iPhone came out everybody forgot about the Lg Prada
I got this phone in the summer of 2007 it was posh and revolutionary, the first capacitive touch screen phone in the world, and the UI was based on Flash, but I managed to install some Java (and SWF) programs and games on it, I still have it now, shall I make some videos for the phone?
Yep Apple did copy the LG Prada and 3 months later they made the iPhone with a bigger better glass multitouch screen built in TH-cam Google maps iPod desktop class web browser and that all made in just 3 months pretty impressive what Apple did 😂😂😂😂😂
@@lesleyhaan116Actually it was only 1 month, I think this released in December 06 and Iphone was January 07 It was total co incidence but capacitive touchscreen phones were where phine technology was headed. Apple just did it WAY better
@@teamtoken Yep Apple did it just better When you collect phones you Have te opportunity to compare these phones decades later and from my testing and playing with them the iPhone is miles ahead the LG Prada just runs feature phone software optimized for touch no WiFi no third party apps just simple Java apps and games where 99% of them did not work with the touchscreen resulting in stupid onscreen buttons that cover half of the screen and it’s sad if LG actually developed a decent os for the Prada and aded 3G and WiFi and real third party app support they would made a an amazing smartphone just like the iPhone but they did not
No way man, I’ve been looking for the virus game for 15 years, and could never find it because I never knew what phone it was on… this is beautiful, I miss that game
I've just bought one minus the charger for five pounds.. Lovely little phone.. Might start using it for calls only.. Ps it still had a orange sim card inside
It could be the first capacitive touchscreen (just by less than a month), but it was completely useless due the phone being that slow and the Macromedia Flash interface being that sluggish. iPhone just did it right, with a blazing fast device compared to this and great interface. iPhone invented the pinch zoom (probably the most popular touch gesture of all time), this phone didn't have even zoom for the gallery..
I seriously hate when people do videos and they can’t talk. Say something. Nobody wants to stare at a silent video while you play on your phone. Tell us your opinions about it. At least I come to hear peoples opinions instead of just seeing nothing but silence.
This channel is dedicated to cataloguing the phone's menus, ringtones and wallpapers, like the title suggests. Is not a review, it's an archiving channel for the purpose of preserving footage of these phones.
This phone was the very first with capacitive touchscreen
Correct!
To bad it lacked a glass screen
and multitouch touchscreen
@@lesleyhaan116but it is still historic.

@KING7567 yes that’s why Nokia is the number one selling phone 🤣🤣
OMG that sound when you switch it in 😍😍😍 like some kind of scream, a bit creepy and very elegant. I loved that phone so much.

Omg what a nostalgic feeling, this was one of my first phones, so fancy at the time but then the iPhone came and everything changed 😂
This was launched before the iPhone

Con razon casi nadie conoce ese telefono, es una porquería por donde se le mire y es mas ni siquiera se habran esforzado un poco en hacerlo.
