Looking closer I have to take back what I originally said. This video is from Tomahawk area. However, I do have videos from Marinette public land and those are in the Dunbar/Goodman area.
I recently moved to Tomahawk east of Grandmother Flowage on the outlet of a small lake and have seen in the last four years bobcat, a grey wolf, pilated woodpeckers, grouse, eagle, harris hawk, some huge owl, turkey, deer, black bear, porcupine, weasel,river otters, bravers and something all black with longish shiny black hair and medium length tail that was the size of a badger that ran over the highway mound of snow like it was not even there that I wish I could identify
Hey Chris, you are in a really nice area there and welcome to Tomahawk! Lots of great wildlife can be seen/experienced in this area. Based on your description I'm thinking the animal you are trying to identify is a fisher. They can be seen in many of my winter videos. I really appreciate you watching the video and taking the time to reach out! ❤️
Lots of nice shots, cool hearing the grunts and bleats, that Pileated woodpecker on the mossy log in the snow was a very cool shot, the stoat, porcupine in the snow, enjoyed the video! 👍
