Mr. Thomas starting his cross of the pathologist by saying, “So, it looks like you’re a forensic pathologist, right?” sets the overall moronic tone of his questions. There is never any point to his questions. He tries to ridicule a highly qualified forensic pathologist and only winds up proving that he is the most ignorant attorney that I ever heard. Thomas is to attorneys what Lori is to mothers. She deserves nothing more.
The state should be mortified! They hire him at tax payers expense!
I continue wondering how many he’s represented who filed motions for Ineffective Counsel? Again costing tax payers!
God forbid if I were to ever get into trouble and was appointed THIS Attorney, I’d take a plea or represent myself!
Super frustrating to see tax payers paying for such a clown show of an Attorney!
Thomas is disrespectful and the judge just sits their, at least the Murdaugh attorneys spoke up and said to respect witness's
Thomas as a covert operative for the prosecution? He succeeds in cementing the pathologist's knowledge and evidence into the case. The same with the senior special agent from the evidence recovery unit (?) "Oh, so you DO work with a grid?" "And uh… you're the boss of every evidence collector the state?" "Yes, mr Thomas. In this state and that state and two more."
@@mightywon-vf3pb Yes I wouldn't want him either. We'll watch some movies and represent ourselves! But his job is to make sure Vallow gets a fair trial, that's all. He's certainly not ineffective. The same with the lawyers Chandler Halderson had, remember that murderer? They didn't ask any questions but they did do their job. Same here with Vallow's attorney. He is asking questions, doubting experts. He's an ass about it. And he helps the state a bunch I think. But he does do the job he's hired for. (He doesn't have any viable defence strategy does he? Just like Halderson's attorneys. No defence because clients very guilty.)

I have worked in the court system (often in courtrooms) for 14 years... I have to say how much I respect Judge Boyce. The way he gently, calmly, and consistently commands control of his courtroom is impressive.
Can't say I agree. Doesn't allow cameras in courtroom, almost didn't allow jj s autopsy photos shown, he walked it back and said that the victims could view them if they asked later... he just appears biased to me
Judge and one defense atty belong to their church.
@@petapumpkineater7185 Ten years ago there would not have been cameras in the courtroom. Also, why is the point of showing the autopsy photos to anyone but the jury? Baby Dylan Grove's trial was broadcast but photos were not shown to the public then either.
@@suedouglas4041 everyone is of the same faith here I think. The prosecutor for sure is the same faith as Vallow and Daybell, I heard him say that in earlier interviews. Judge too yes. All the jurors. It's a small and tight knitted county.
I think we have to remember here, too, that those autopsy photos would have depicted the naked bodies of two minors. When you consider it that way, it makes more sense why that viewing should be restricted. Not to benefit anyone’s case, but to respect these kid’s dignities.
No wonder Tylee had anxiety. Her father died. Her mother remarried. Then her mother became enamored with Chad Daybelle, snuck around on her husband, then decided to divorce him. Her mother started to believe in some very extreme religious teachings. They moved here and there. Her mom was running off to religious meetings. Tylee and JJ had to survive in this atmosphere. I think she had good reason to be anxious.
Lori didn’t decide to divorce Charles 😂😂😂 he was smart and filed for divorce and put it in papers that if he ended up dead that Lori did it
Oh and don’t forget, her stepdad was murdered by her uncle with her in the house. And she was put in the middle of a BS story of her using a “bat” to fend off her own stepfather. And then forced to tell the police that “wonderful”scenario.

I’m sure her mom or someone prolly told her that her mom n cult friends, thought she was a zombie. She knew what happened to ppl they viewed that way. I don’t understand how she thought she could get away with this. Like ppl would just forget two kids. All the family friends would just forget? Oh come on.
I strongly believe Lori has Narcissistic Personality Disorder. I always have and watching an interview with Lori's first cousin just solidified it. She seemed like a perfect mother,but in private was probably controlling and abusive.

After Charles Vallow was murdered, these two children were moved away from Arizona and isolated in Idaho. Tylee’s phone was taken away, no access to family, funds or a car. I can’t let myself imagine what horror these two sweet innocent children endured at the hands of these THREE murderous adults before their horrific murders. Thankfully Kay didn’t give up on JJ or they might still be out there murdering people for money.

I almost can’t bear to listen to the defense attorney voir dire the expert witnesses. He is so smug and condescending, and asks questions that are completely unnecessary. I honestly think that this is because the defense has absolutely *nothing* to help their client, so they have to “look” like they’re doing something. Anything. But it makes them sound ridiculous and grasping at straws.

The way these children were murdered was horrific! These were not fast “easy” deaths. They suffered horribly. They both fought for their lives! There should be no mercy for either Lori or Chad. And Alex was right, he will be their fall guy but no matter who actually killed the children, they are all guilty. And as their mother she especially should have protected them or sent them away to other family. She and Chad are lunatics.

I think they were doing that so nobody sitting in courtroom took pics of the autopsy photos. That actually happened during the Alex Murdoch trial.

I can't understand how Tammy didn't see or hear anything when she was at home. She was getting into bed with Chad at night not knowing or having an inkling about the sheer horror of what he was concealing in the back yard. Also when she was shot at that time, why didn't she insist on having cameras installed around the property? I find all this so weird.

I cannot comprehend how she can sit there and listen to her baby's body being discussed like that. This is the child she carried in her own body for nine months. (Of course, that does not even address how she could do this to her children or let it be done!)

Sadly I suspect Tylee died from blunt force Trauma or gunshot wound ( and bullets were recovered) We know that there is a pickaxe with Tylee's blood on it ,I shudder to think what it was used for. As a former attorney, I feel for the defense counsel. They are grabbing for anything. The most they can do is preserve issues for appeals.

Is there a Part three? It appears that the Forensic Anthropologist wasn't finished on the stand before the video ended.
He was done for the day but he can be called back at any point before the end of the trial. I think the defense did this out of spite, not because he actually needs him for further questions.

I have not heard anyone mention what time of day Tylee was burned. Chad text to Tammy said he was burning stuff during the day. How horrific if that was the case, and may help explain the haste of burial.
@@Mataylor17 my father in laws neighbor burned a dead horse one time. The smell of something like that burning is not pleasant. Chad had to have searched wind direction to try to prevent the smell permeating the neighbors.
@@bethnorrod5942 i agree. Ive wondered how no one smelled it. Its not a smell thats pleasant or forgettable. What did Chads kids see,smell? They aren't small children,they had to have seen,smelled somthing suspicious, imo. It was in their back yard and nothing was questioned? Seems off to me.
he text her in the morning from what I recall to say he was going to burn limb debris (?) before it rained and also that he had shot a raccoon (to account for a gunshot sound in the neighbourhood??)
@@Mataylor17 investigators noticed too that Chad's usual texts to Tammy were brief but on that day he went into great detail about what he was doing.
A body is mostly fluid. It takes extreme temps to burn a body,more than is normally thought by the average person. How is it no one noticed anything? The smell,the hours it would take,the heat it would take...is that property that large? Idk.
