You just brought back my memories as a kid from 1976 on a trip to Europe. I was 8 yrs old and loved die-cast toys. My mother took me on a guided trip to western Europe. Every city I visited I would ask her to find a toy store for cool die-cast toys. Just subbed to your channel. Thank you youtube algorithm.

The non LEGO military stuff was brief but great. LEGO did sneak in a military set in via the early Toy Story sets. A lot of people don't make the connection

I grew up with Matchbox, Corgi, Hot Wheels & Tonka Trucks. I also had large 1/10 scale trucks, then moved onto 1/24 plastic car models. Always loved model cars, planes & trains. Thanks for the tour!

We used to have them aplenty in the UK but because of the Internet they've become extinct, gone like toys are us. Used to love the feeling of going to the shops, makes you feel part of the human race, not like the Internet.
There is nothing better than visiting a hobby shop and see all these beautiful models, products etc with your own eyes

Nice store... but its just a lot (A LOT) of the same stuff. I know this might seem hard to understand but in reality there is not much different variety of products, just a lot to choose from ONE variety. For example, no electric model trains, no plastic models, no modeling supplies, just one thing to choose diecast cars (and lots and lots of them) and maybe a lego stuff and a few diecast commercial airplanes.
Was da an Geld im Laden steckt, ich Frage mich, wie der sich halten kann. Die Präsentation und Masse verführt sich mal den Einen oder Anderen "Nichtmodellauto-Sammler", aber die Spanne ist jetzt nicht so sonderlich groß bei Modellautos. Das ist Leidenschaft, und die Präsentation im Schaufenster ist Sagenhaft und sehr liebevoll.
Ich habe so einen spezialisierten Laden viele Jahre nicht gesehen, das fasziniert mich daran. Toll!

As a kid I loved hobby/model shops, I would have fainted by now in that store.

I visit this store about 3 to 4 times a year. The owners are classic entrepreneurs and very kind. I'll always leave a happy buck there to support them.

I'm living in Aachen - and it is the greatest shop I know. You have to visit without your credit card, but with your own budget ..it is a w e s o m e.

The big r/c ship is really amazing. Didn't know that Viking is also producing such big models. Only knew them for the 1/87 scaled models.
It's also amazing to see the details on those Schuco 1/87 model cars. This scale is also already very nice in details.
Would love to see that ship in the water.

Wow! Another amazing video. An awesome store. When I was a kid, we used to have toy/hobby stores like that here, but alas no more since the closing of the Modelzone chain. Sure, there’s Amazon, but it’s not the same as looking at, and choosing the model before buying it.
These stores are very special and important for collectors. I would love to have a store like this one
I have a similar store like that but with a lot less inventory cause I have some nasty thief employees that steal cash and inventory and I cannot prove it ! I had to close 1 location due to merciless theft from gross nasty employees !!

Twice a year I'm going to this store and every time I'll go there I have butterfly's in my stomach
I have a collection of about 3000 (800 of them Ferrari's)1/43 & 1/18 model's, Spark, BBR, Tecnomodel, Looksmart, Jade Miniatures, MR Collection, Make up etc F1, Road, Sports prototypes etc.I know I have a problem ! Would love to see this shop. I'd be in heaven.

I think with this huge store only selling die cast toys stuff, the owner must be from generations ago… and i got no more to say rather than they are very successful of maintaining their business…

I wish that there were stores like that here in USA..Louisiana..near where I live.
I have mixed feelings about diecast cars , we only had 1/64 models when I was a kid , then in the 80 s larger scale car models came to exist pre-made and my 'TUDE became why cant thease lazy posers assemble and paint a plastic model kit ? It is like the punk rock song that drones " AT-LAST everything is already done for you and it went against my values and I even stopped banging out car kits .I used to bang out and even paint a kit even in one day, for real ! Now I greatly appreaciate thease models because I try to build a decent ! 164 scale model railroad . Thanks !

Not everything that is made in China is cheap and ugly. 95% of the Diecast models are made in China/Asia
