  • Rich Paul recently went on record and publicly gave us a look at the inner workings of the mind behind some of the biggest propaganda running in the sports world today. And he flat out told us definitively that WINNING doesn't matter anymore.

If winning and rings don’t matter, why even have the playoffs and the championships? Let’s just play a bunch of regular season games and analyze stats to death.

Winning and rings do matter but just as in important is the context of the winning. I don't like debates where it becomes i got more rings - i'm better . Obviously we gotta look at the context of each ring. Same reason why MJ is the GOAT and Bill Russel isn't. Obviously using context doesn't help LeBron case much as he's got some of the cheapest rings ever.

@@danieldang3908 The only list is players who dominated the decades. Lebron is at the bottom of that list because of the quality of his rings. But his talent alone is enough to be on that list. Just like Wilt, and Shaq. Extreme natural gifts but immature brains. MJ, Kobe, Bird, Magic, Russell, Hakeem, Tim, and Kareem are smart people and they're natural leaders. They're not pretending to be a leader with their money. They all built organic teams and won more. Because they have the mental maturity.

Oh well, I have a feeling the next, next generations won’t look too kindly on lebrons legacy, without the recency bias and the emotional attachment to cloud their judgements. They’ll see the super-teams, the finals losses and him getting beaten by another great named Steph Curry In the same era. They’ll compare him to another past player that beat him in rings and many other accolades and then make their opinion on who was better. They won’t go through the mental gymnastics of trying to explain the specific and obscure, contextual points of why lebrons is somehow actually better. They simply won’t care like y’all do.

Let's be fair. I don't expect anyone's agent to not hype their client up. More annoying is the coverage by the so-called press.
I was surprised you didn't mention Zach Lowe's comment today. After Greenberg says LeBron is "still in his prime", Lowe says, LeBron "thinks he alone is a legitimate chance to win the championship, if the team that he's on just does enough to surround him with the right pieces." 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂Wow. They've now changed the narrative to Wade/Bosh/Battier/Miller/Allen, Irving/Love/Smith/Jefferson, and Davis/Rondo/Green/Howard, were just enough help. LeBron clearly carried those bums to championships (please tell me you smelled the sarcasm in that sentence). So all the Lakers or any other team needs is to surround LeBron with 3, 4, or 5 hall-of-fame level players and it'll be just enough that LeBron can carry another crew to the championship. This guy has became insufferable.
