I wish Benn would have brought up the great majority of Israelis who support the war.

I do agree that Oct 7th 2023 was a great deal of trauma for the Israeli citizens. However, Palestinians have undergone multiple traumas and torture prior to Oct 7th and after.

Nothing justifies the genocide that Israel is committing, not October 7th or anything else.@@62Cristoforo

The October 7 attack opened the world’s eyes to the previous decades of Israeli violence and terrorism upon innocent Palestinians. Right now there are 2.3 million hostages Israeli is keeping trapped within their security fence around Gaza, and has been that way for about 17 years. Naturally, people will want to break out and seek revenge. Not to justify any violence, but I also don’t condone the Israeli violence which caused the October 7 backlash. Israelis need to own some responsibility for this tragedy, and stop playing the eternal victim

@t.dmytryshyn2615 I give you the truth
Muslims in Palestine are 17 million strong and occupy 85% of its territory. Yet today is a special day. BBC did not mention Israel and Ukraine. There are other suffering people on the planet.🌐British broadcasters talked about Haiti. Not about Sudan, though.
And USA abstained at the UN controlled by Arab money and numbers and lost the bridge. G-d is watching🗽

As a Muslim I followed the program and I believe the Bibi and Likud government needs to be engaged consistently until they too become convinced with the two state solution. Yes, Israelis are apprehensive of any strongly armed Palastian state but this too could be discussed and a formula could be reached.

Ok but keep Hamas as a legitimate leadership for the Palestinian people? Hamas only degenerated Gaza and did little for its own people. Bibi will be gone after the war- the majority of Israeli’s want him gone, but what about a half decent Palestinian leader that genuinely wants to build good will between the people? So much emphasis is placed on everything Israel does wrong. I wish the Palestinian people could see how rotten their leaders are- they are all millionaires and billionaires and none of it trickles down to their own people.

@@Dakini31 I don't believe in any reactionary outfit that emerges on both sides. For these are temporary; they come and go. I do believe in one thing which does not go away in the holy land that is the two people; the Jews and Palestinians these will never go away. They need a formula of peace and security to co-exist.

Ibrahim Accord depends on the Arab Rulers , it is up in the air as far as the majority of the people controlled by their rulers who are maintained by the help and protection of the colonial powers, So how secure is the paper of the Ibrahim accord up there in the air, far from the ground, Bahrein is a few tents and palaces and some luxury furniture Saudi Arabia has backed off from Yemen, the Dollar, and moved to Iran Russia and China. The fact that the lady on your panel mentioned that the future of Arabe governments depends on the outcome of this war, whicch seems likely to be credible, underscore the vulnerability of those Arab Rulers. However, in my view, this war has a far reaching impact in the World as far as the Israeli Palestinian isses. The Genuine 2 equal States with full sovreignty for the Palestinian State, the adjustment of Israelly policy to fit into a mutual, friendly, and mutual respect relations with the Arab and muslim world, would have a serious opportunity to resolve the long standing conflict between Israel and the Palestinians which is now the concern for the World.

I consider these ‘moderate’ participants quite deluded and somewhat ignorant of the current political situation and perspective of the current Israeli government and society. Their political vision has already been defeated by a more radical religious trend that relies politically in the US on Christian’s fundamentalists for a political base in the US maybe more than in the old Jewish vote.
