Outstanding video. You are probably one of a very few mechanics I'd let work on one of my cars. Attention to detail is usually highly under rated. Thank you Peter.
I bought one of those funnels after seeing it on your channel with the Toyota and the Chrysler adaptor so I can use it on my 4Runner and my wife's Grand Cherokee and my daughters Jeep Wrangler, I love it!
Happy New Year to You too. Thanks for your videos and the information. I followed your channel about mercedes when I had W124 250D. Now I own a 97 Camry 2.2L
AST, Assenmacher Specialty Tools has an elbow for their OFTOY1038, Oil filler funnel, suitable for the Prius and some Yaris models. The model number is OFT38 for this AST elbow.
Perfect... Thumbs up as always. That oil filter cap wrench only fits on two Toyota built engines, the 1.8 liter and 1.3 liter engines (found in Prius, Corolla, Matrix, Pontiac Vibe, plus some scionscand Lexus models, etc.) All larger engines take a larger oil filter cap wrench.
Peter, I understand your concern with the State Agency. I was a Certified Federal OSHA Inspector for 20 years, from 1982 - 2002, then retired. Should you ever need help with any OSHA issue, feel free to drop me a line. I would be happy to provide you answers. No fee, of course.
Hi Peter, Thanks for taking the time to do all your videos. ! I have a Rav4 2015, the car request 0-W20 oil, all the 6 years I have been using 0-W20 in every oil change. Do you recommend continue using the same one?
@Toyota Maintenance. Hi Peter. So California says you have to check the tire pressures of your customer's cars? "It's the law!" Isn't it nice that California tells you what you'd already do to properly service a customer's car? Thanks for the lesson. Hope you and your family stay safe and well. Happy New Year.
October, 2018 is a momentous time for the then 4th gen Prius... Toyota made the oil filter a regular spin-on (cannister) again! @ToyotaMaintenance, I would love to see a PCV valve from a fourth generation Prius (2ZR engine).

The best guy ever for the right place as techer 👍👍

Peter, Thanks for taking us through this step by step.
When a mechanic concerns himself with the quality of a washer, you know you're in the right shop.

My 2005 just made it past 250,000 miles last week. Did my oil change 1500 miles ago.

Peter, great vid on how to do the oil change on the Prius. Thanks.
Yet another very helpful video!

It never rains in California, but Pete, don't they warn ya, check tires, man, check tires.
U could offer ur customer Amsoil,I think it's the best oil.
Mobile 1 Synthetic as well.......................
@Peter Boissiere, Amsoil's top spec oil is the best oil .

It may be one of the best but for me it's overkill.
I believe my2022 Prius Prime has a spin on oil filter...
Your cars are definitely California clean.

drain plug= 28 ft. lbs.
Don't over tighten.
Health Department or the EPA????
Hi. Do you recommend buying a 10 year old toyota prius with 96 thousand miles ?
Do you ever get a chance to work on prius primes?
Do you also check the lights and the tire pressures? Would it be worth to check the cabin filter and clean out the needles. Enjoy your work. Thanks
Who the fuck disliked this video i just wanna talk to them.
Peter! What about the pin that goes in the area of the oil filter housing?
Smallest shop in a police state Californication
California full of regulations and nothing to show for.
T M what city are you in
