      Lately isn't the right word. They've been engaged in high-risk behavior for a long time and haven't gained a lick of sense. I remember in one video from a while ago, one of the twins decided to go into a flooded cave by himself when there was still frost on the ground outside and he nearly drowned/died of hypothermia. There have been multiple (almost countless) videos by now where one of them got himself wedged in a tight space and started freaking out. The scariest for me was when one of them got himself wedged while crawling through water that was covering half his face and he started screaming because he thought for a minute or two that he was actually gonna die. These guys are just incapable of learning... (I've admittedly watched too many of their videos and feel like maybe I'm kind of supporting something that I really shouldn't) @@jaldh854

    The jaw bones you found are from a black bear I believe.
    It shows large canines and flat molars which means the animal had an omnivore diet.
    There’s not enough oxide staining on the bones to make them prehistoric but definitely a few hundred years old possibly.

    When I was in my early 20’s while visiting relatives me, my wife and two cousins went to a cave on the side of a mountain in Alabama. It was barely sprinkling when we went in at dusk and on the way to it we crossed a 3 foot wide ankle deep creek. When we left that creek was between chest and shoulder deep. Insane how much water sheds off those mountains in just a few hours.

    • @alexistaboada5759
      @alexistaboada5759 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      @@AKagNA there is no heat undergournd. the sun is the only heat so once the rain hits the cold rocks its now its that tempeture so typicaly a cave is around 40ish degrees so a steady stream of 45 degree water is super super cooling you. not only does your body have to fight to keep you warm that warm it just made just washed off by fast water. so a wet suit is required to prevent cell failuredue to heat loss (hyperthermia) (also the deeper its colder ussaly its like 50 to 60 on them ez caves)

    • @runechuckie
      @runechuckie 14 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@alexistaboada5759 Exactly, so many people think it has to be really cold to freeze to death, but add in some water and the hypothermia temp isn't actually high as people think. They stressed this a lot when I was doing work around a river in the fall/winter months, basically telling us the dangers of falling in or getting wet can speed up hypothermia.

    I use to cave like this in my younger days, that is until....
    one day, just like any other caving day, we were exploring just like you guys. However, the ceiling in the next room decided to let go and completely collapse. It reverberated the entire cave, was loud af, and was definitely not fun anymore. It was the biggest reality check. Although it was some of the best years of my life, I never did it again. Those boulders and collapses you crawl around on may seem like they've been collapsed for hundreds/thousands of years, but they let loose. And when they do, it ain't cool. But keep doing you until you find out. cheers.

    Those spiky scallops and thinned-out layers indicate many years of water flowing through there.

      Yup, thousand years of flash floods will do that. Sorta like the flash floods directly after and during the kind of rains they were having.

    Wow, it started as TAG caving and then it became more like UK caving on the the way out 🤣 looks another good trip boys, keep exploring!

    Be careful, boys. There have been many stories about cavers being found dead in caves because of flooding. You guys make awesome videos, and I hope you one day find an andient civilisation, but until then, you guys need to be super careful. Otherwise, you guys are doing a great job, and I look forward to seeing the next video.

    Is there a mechanism to search where some of these caves on your channel are located? (the publically available ones) I'm interested in reaching out to local grottos to start safely dipping my toes into caving, but I like the idea of starting with caves that have these kinds of go-pro style walkthoughs to at least have some sense of what I'd be getting into...

    I am 100% sure that in one of these dozens of caves underground gold treasures are buried, someone definitely 500-700 years ago accidentally stumbled upon such caves, went deeper inside with a torch, he buried valuables

    Guys, any chance you could place sticks over that hole or something, to stop it from being an animal death trap?

    • @fungustheclown666
      @fungustheclown666 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Honestly that would probably make it more dangerous, as sticks rot. Then some person or animal is going to walk over it and fall through because they couldn't see the hole

    I have a serious question? What happens if one of you get stuck or all of you? (Which i hope never happens) but what is the safety/rescue plan? I see why you almost have a million viewers, this is a thrill that most of us can not or will not do, im on pins and needles while yall are down in them caves

      to avoid a situation where everyone is trapped and nobody on the outside knows, you tell someone where you're going and when you expect to be back and for them to bring help if you're not back within a few hours of an agreed upon time.

      This is the exact reason you never go into a cave during a rain. All that water has to go somewhere, and when it does it will all go at once.

    Because just getting stuck without the fear of drowning gets boring after a while ;-D
    24:50, unclipped right next to a deep hole with mossy wet floor, while frozen and cold.
    Slip once and your basically on the bottom, not smart.
