I raced a 83 480 in the expert class in District 7 loved it ,only wish it had the 86 cartridge forks on it. still kicking myself for selling it. I was told depending on condition thier worth anywhere from $3,000 to $5,000 now n to think I sold it for $300.00 to a friend who turned around and sold it because it was way to powerful for him..
Its a shame Ricky Johnson carrier got cut short in its prime. He was the best in the world when he got hurt an would have won numerous more national titles

Should have had Graham Noyce in this as he was Honda's first world champion in 79 .

sadly we lost Eric Geboers today, he died while trying to save his dog. (I would do the same).
The glory days started in the 70's when Honda blew the doors off of everybody with the CR125 & 250.

87 is the best I have a cr250 and 500 the 500 eats the new 450s
