question neme, I always see people building bft into liandrys but I always thought liandrys is better cuz of the max health thing and I would assume it adds up to more burn damage then bft, so why do you (meant as the average person, not you in particular) usually build bft first ?
liandries > blackfire in terms of damage and everything else but blackfire torch gives everything a midlaner wants, TLDR, liandries is a better burn item, it's bait on most champs
@@crazybluelemur5738 without lost chapter mana is hard for hwei, lost chapter makes his laning phase much easier and if u go bft, you can clear waves VERY easily with q e, letting you perma roam pretty much and always have better cs
i have become really good with hwei and im pretty sure that going any dmg related item before seraph is kinda int. I its one think you arent missing is dmg, so going for the shield is more worth imo, especially in a game like this where they have eve and gragas. That been said my comment is written before i watch the video, so lets see how the uber burst build goes. edit: ok i just saw that he goes seraph anyway. so there we go cheers everyone

I could be wrong but I think it’s because BFT is cheaper and thus an earlier power spike.
