      Fish is legendary for the storytelling in his lyrics and between the songs at a live concert. He has a presence that IMHO is unparalleled. I was lucky to see the band and Fish solo almost a dozen times in the late 80s and early 90s and I will never forget those concerts.

      I was born in 1990 and I feel the same way. There are things we will never be able to experience like it was... Live Aid, Woodstock, early Glastonbury, etc. But there are others we can enjoy... this new wave of indie bands (Turnover, Swimming Tapes, Wild Nothing, etc.) are really interesting and have its own thing revolving around them.

      I wish I was born in my 80s too. I was also born in 1995 exactly 26 years ago. My father always heard a lot of 80 year old songs, I think that's why I love this music so much. But even if I watch the concert without cell phones, only sparklers are so beautiful.✨

    • @rafalmarkiewicz6313

      You are extrimely lucky you were born in late 90’s else you would have already been in your 50’s or 60’s. You still have much better access to the music you like from 80’s than those days but live concerts (which you can watch in HD and great quality sound). Imagine growing up in 80’s behind the iron curtain with no English bands concerts, no LP’s, only radio and crap TV, no internet, no Spotify, no TH-cam, and no products in shops and communism without any freedom, thankfully no war. Enjoy your youths lucky you!!!

    • @pfaprado
      @pfaprado 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@rafalmarkiewicz6313 This is actually true. I remember that in the early days of internet I was looking for a film from the 90s (10 years old only) and I couldn't find any info on that. Nowadays you can not only find the soundtrack, actors, etc. but watch the movie itself, check the personal page of one the actors or check where the hell it was filmed on Google Maps. We are living in some amazing times.

      i wonder about this statement. Usually, people say that the 80s are the golden era of music.

      Nowadays all they have is boy bands and wannabes aiming to make a quick quid, no skills and no decent music 70s 80s was the time and place to be alive.

      @@Kurikost_ You have to remember, back the UK in the '80's, there were really two different music scenes, bands like Marillion, Ultravox etc, then you had the SAW "acts", Rick Astley, Kylie Minogue etc While I would consider the 80's to be the best music of my lifetime, I can understand how some people look at the SAW type of music and turn their noses up.
