5.3L old technology had 4 of them. Goes from 8 to 4 cylinders after 140 000k issues start to arise. Switched to F-150 powerboost best choice I have ever made, now I enjoy driving again. 👍
Man oh man do I also love the 3.5L EcoBoost. That engine is miles more fun than the 5.3L. I hope you’re enjoying your new ride, thank you for watching!
Hey guys I’m 43 yo male , if you ask for pronouns I’ll ask when did you escape.. anyhoo grew up Chevy lover my whole life I have 2019 Chevy Silverado Texas edition 4x4 with 3rd gen 5.3 with 60,400 miles and had and still having so many issues.. please research that motor and tranny.. the 10 speed I have last 150k max
That’s a great point! I didn’t even realize there wasn’t one in the whole interior while I was making the video. I’m the same I NEED the 12V. How do you not have one in the vehicle?
Who would think to even look for that? It's almost as ubiquitous as a door handle. Maybe that's the next thing they will remove. Roll down the window and open from outside lol
@coyleatkinson I did not check the center console for a 12v, but from what I remember I think I only remember seeing a USB type C and USB type A in the center console.
@@CEALLIFORNIA A couple of months back (ownership for 4 months now) I was messing *around by asking Google to tell me a jokes.....What is the temp in Mesa, Az.....Change temp to 90°, stuff like that. Then I asked google to change voice to a man's voice, and it did! Doesn't seem to apply every aspect of google's voice, but most of it.
@@VayaconChupacabra That is cool, Have you taken that thing on a road trip yet? Wondering how the long term comfort is, Haven’t done a super long drive in mine yet.
@@CEALLIFORNIA Is yours the same one you reviewed in the video? Love that color!! mine is just black. Perhaps you already know this, i didn't....I owned mine for about 3 weeks when a friend was playing with all of the vents and buttons, and he ended up pushing that little, rectangle-ish shape right below the vent at the right side of the infotainment screen (in frame at 10:56, just above your finger). It's a button! We had a good laugh at our surprise...No spoilers. Go push that button.
3:13 Why would you hold the camera in such a weird awkward angle and show us the reflection of your face and window when explaining the radio touchscreen?? The only thing not clear is the actual touchscreen pages you are explaining
@@Winston7564 Thanks man, I considered taking this one down because the quality has improved as of recent, but I figured I’ll leave it up as a reminder of where I started 😂
It’s my understanding it might be a seat belt indicator for all the passengers in the truck. It sure is an interesting looking icon but I believe that’s what it is!

Have had two fords they are junk . Yes all vehicles including Chevy have issues but ford especially powerboost are complete junk

Comes in real handy as i just got my new Silverado this weekend
I’m glad you enjoyed the video, thank you for watching! Enjoy your new truck!
Great video Ceall, can't wait for the next one!
Thank you! I look forward to the next one being even better 💯
Very informative! Great video! 👏👏👏
Glad you enjoyed it!
Good review 👌🏽
Thank you I appreciate it. This was my first video so it’s not as good as I wanted it to be, but I’m glad you enjoyed it, thank you for watching!
Great Video
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
Love this! 😊
Thank you!
2019-2024 is the same generation. It’s just a mid-cycle update.
You will always be chasing new. If you like it buy it.
You got that right. New always seems to look better. But not always the case. Like you said buy it because YOU like it and YOU want it!
Anyone entertaining buying a truck with the 3.0L Duramax should watch Eric on 'I Do Cars' tear one down. Some pretty disturbing engineering.
I know the 3.0 has a cult following, I didn’t realize it had its own demons though… 🤔
can you translate the torque and some other specs for us europeans, that would be great in the future
Put the NM of torque somewhere small in parentheses perhaps? I’ll consider it for future videos, thank you!
😊😊

No 12v accessory plug= no buy. I should not have to add that. Usb power adaptors will burn up or go obsolete, then what?
Morons!

say "hey Google.....Change to a man's voice.", you're welcome.
Didn’t realize they had different voices to choose from 🤔 kinda cool actually

We haven't done anything like a 12 hour+ trip yet, just numerous single leg 3-4 hour trips. But those trips were pretty darn comfy.

@9:25 what is the truck icon on upper left of screen alerting you to?
