No need to prove,because I am a Chinese native speaker,even my Mandarin has a Cantonese accent, but she can speaks without any Japanese accent. Most Chinese speak Mandarin with their home town accent. Even we try to mimic to speak like her is almost imposible.

According to my wife, she speaks Mandarin with a strong northern accent. It's no surprise, as her Chinese coach, who taught her both Chinese and table tennis, is a northerner.

I don't think so. I'd say 福原爱 is the one who has a native northeast accent of Mandarin (and can switch to TW accent), while 石川 sounds like a standard Mandarin speaker, with some slight Japanese flavor though :P
