  • Yes 15 minutes of woodland capture erecting a large homemade waterwheel that actually charges a car battery very well. ENJOY!
PS it all boils down to doing the MATH (including the aftermath).

Mate that's so nice. And big! Love the tripods. When the rain comes I would imagine that's going to start cranking. The use of the bike and the gearing is so simple and soo ingenious. You've made it tuneable! Please video if it starts piddlin down with rain, I'm really curious as to how fast she'll go and of course the amp rise from it. Cool video Scotty mate. This was way better than switching the TV on this morning. I really love the frame and the wheel. Teach me to weld one day mate, please. ;)

    Man this is awesome!!!!!! \
You did a great job. Have you been improving on it? Has it continued to produce?
I want to do this same thing with out the electricity to pump my water from my well which is 60 feet from my creek. I would use the shaft to run a water pump to pump the well water up to my water tower.
I am assuming that the size of the water wheel makes a difference in the power as seen in the small water wheel to the larger wheel?
Is there a quick guide to wheel size?
    Thanks. Jim in Chile
