I have a question about attracting clients. As a starting motivational speaker, how can I start to outbound market myself to companies ? because I really dont know how I can do that. I am a bit stuck in this process

Any tips specifically for stylists? I’m not new in the business but base with social media and pictures i specialize in color makeup and updos I’m better than many in the area who keep busier but I’m an introvert which makes it harder any suggestions

You probably look more better and being in front of a camera as a actress and as a TH-camr and where you're moving I love that style of yours how you doing it because you would look really great and being a movie actress being in front of the camera and do it seems serious scenes cuz you look like you could put it work in look like you could do some serious work and I mean that because I have some content in my little my little TH-cam channel that I'm doing that I'm pushing out some of my TH-cam channels sometimes people can't see it my TH-cam but people are responding because I had to get me a new phone and a phone I had wasn't wasn't working properly it wasn't it wasn't actually really didn't have no real gigs and really didn't push off what it had to do I really couldn't really do much with that phone finally got a better phone I want to really discuss what phone I got but I do got a better phone and I'm happy with the phone I got and I'm going to always build up the better your equipment that's how I feel the better your content will be because I know and this is the way I feel I'm not trying to follow everybody's feelings about what they think should be I know what I feel it should because I did my own research whatever I do I don't let nothing stop me from being a Content maker even if I make a few minutes of a program why do a little knick-knack or whatever it may be I always feel something on TH-cam and on Instagram and I'm working on some other platforms that I'm going to be working on it to get in my workout to get my movies out the people I'm linking with the people I'm working with we're trying to do certain things in a certain way and we'll get working on becoming more professional at what we do we have to be that way and it's good I have a person I say each one to their own opinion and each wanted it what they feel like they feel in life should be and I have my own way of thinking but at the end of the day I love what you're doing you keep on rocking it keep on promoting yourself as a Content makeup many blessings and God bless you

Yet another helpful video. Thank you for this Erin. Request : you mentioned briefly " falling into entrepreneurship " after finding it difficult to find a job. Is there a video where you talk about that space and how you processed through what you had hoped for and your new reality ? If not, is it possible for you to do one ? I think a good number of young people find themselves in this space and get super discouraged thinking it means they aren't " good enough ".

If I may, I would love to add one more point... *SALES TRAINING* If you are unable to sell (communicate) to a potential client, it's going to be even more challenging in the short & long run. I got professional sales training and was able to eliminate most objections, one of them being:
*1. Send me a proposal - even though THEY knew they wasn't going to buy... I would follow up with them multiple times and feel I was stalking them, they would either ghost me or or say they needed more time to 'think about it' - even following up with them 3- 4 over a time span of 6 weeks!*
In a fairly short space of time, I was able to learned how to get past this objection with a lot of live role play and practice.

The last tip did it for me
My layer 1 is budgeting. I share how I’m paying off debt, making extra money while working a fulltime job, while also living a life I love like traveling, going out with friends, buying sneakers, but all on a budget that I can afford. I’ve wanted to get into influencing but I really don’t have time to manage multiple pages because I thought that all my passions has to be separated but this video just helped me by figuring out my layers. My overall objective is to inspire people to get out of debt while also living a little and having fun!

Love this advice! Especially about focusing on outbound marketing vs inbound marketing when you’re first starting out; most of the other advice I’ve seen says to focus on inbound marketing, which takes so much time and energy in the beginning. Thanks for sharing your insights!

Another great and informative video! I recently started an editing business aimed towards helping indie, own voice author. I've started advertising and marketing on social media, trying to make friends and connects in the industry etcetera. I've even discounted my rates as I know that the market I'm aiming at probably doesn't have 1000-3000 dollars to spend on book editing. No Bites thus far, but my theme word this year is consistency so I'll chug on. Trying to get a business up and going can be frustrating, but your videos always encourage me to keep pushing! :)
The point about outbound marketing is so important. I think since social media takes time, we should do that in the background and really focus heavily on outbound marketing in the beginning!

Thank you for pointing out the importance of tip 7 (local marketing). There's too much pressure on making free (international focused) content nowadays, which is fine... In a LATER phase! ;) I started my channel too fast as well: Starting a new business takes time. Developing your core expertise takes time. Running a professional TH-cam channel takes a whooooole lot of time... It takes me 40 hours to make a video (in total). Crazy I know. But the stupid thing is: I get all my customers from going to local network events! Meeting people in the flash. And them suggesting me to others. Not one of them came from TH-cam... They didn't even check it. I'm going to revamp my channel in a later phase, when I'm READY for scaling up. Until then (luckily) I'm already in business, but not thanks to making video's about making video's. ;)
Nice video! A good point about outbound marketing, and inbound indeed is quite time-consuming and nowadadays one needs to know a lot to do it.. unless maybe there is a special marketing assistant. Erin, do you have any other video on outbound marketing? My current niche is quite specific (counseling, art therapy, coaching and astrology).
What could you suggest for outbound marketing if your selling say hair extensions lashes or clothes for people who it would cost to send free stuff
