Very helpful. I took mine to VW this morning. P0201 code came up. They did a thorough inspection and priced everything up. Mind you I’ve been to one other VW only and they always want to buy my car from me and I’ve had inspections done through them. Today VW Fairfield priced my p0201 job at $3-4grand. I said no thanks paid the $229 diagnostic check and left. Got into Jetta and noticed check engine light was off. Drove home and no light comes on. Just put seafom into it just incase code came up because of clogged injector
Really good video. I just finished my first injector service on my TVR Chimaera V8. Was a pig of a job but had to be done. It's amazing how much 1 blocked injector totally renders the car useless after a short distance. I really thought I had major engine problems.... A quick clean and problem solved.
THANK YOU! I just bought a 1995 Toyota Starlet and you helped diagnose my suspicions that it indeed has dirty injectors, because it did stall and doesnt pull as well as a 1,3L engine should 880kg car. I will do a bit more homework and then will probably put injector cleaner fluid in the tank.
Hello Thanks for reading this. I have a Prius 2005.One day I had a old portable gaz tank about 4-5 month old gaz that I put in my car (3 gallons). about 2 weeks latter rafter realizing I had lost my Cell phone the night before. From a cold start on the engine, gave a good run on the car to get back to the site where I had lost that important electronic thing. On my way to the site, because I did not give much chance to the engine to warm up , it started to act weird like if the engine was overheating and or not enough fuel or too much. the engine eventually died on me.Had an engine overheat message only once that time. Could not restarted. two days later after few attempts, engine restarted. and was able to drive back home but with the heater on full heat only. Have no indication of overheating because no gauge on Prius. I changed the intake fuel sensor number 1 Things came back OK for a while. Since that event, When I use my car cold during summer or winter car runs fine but fuel economy is much lower than what it use to be. Anytime the car is run from cold to normal operation, engine is fine but if I shut down engine and restart 5-10-30 or even an hr after, the engine runs erratically and knock like it's gonna died at idle or at low power but if I press the gaz pedal to the floor, the engine comes back and it takes a wile before engine settle to stable power. I changed the spark plugs and the air mass sensor also have put some seafphone for the CAT but that did no do anything. I put some Injector cleaning few times and seems a very little improvement but go away after a while.if not done at every refueling. Do you think it can be the 180,000 miles water pump or thermostat that cause this or the injector (s) that are leaking fuel once the engine is shut down warm and restart.I have no engine MSG nor water pump or overheating Messages indicating they are faulty nor injector messages if they exist on this car?Thank for the reply.
Can you please help me? We have a 2020 Ford Edge. When we begin to accelerate, the engine does a shimmy feeling. Thankfully it doesn’t stall. But it’s concerning. Can you tell me any ideas you think it could be? Thank you!
My car backfired and smoking when accelerating and when i press the acceleration pedal and keep the throttle open the car just turn off and what can cause that
My car stop accelerating while am driving and i stopped and turn it on again and it’s starts going again but it doesn’t move fast and it’s feels like my break pad is holding my tyres. What could be the cause please. I will wait to read from you.

Which car do you have? Any warning lamps on the dash? Check engine light?

could fuel injectors also be bad or faulty after getting fuel at the pump? and causing air fuel ratio to go rich? the purge valve has been replaced
