I use both multimeter. But I prefer the digital for measuring voltage. I had seen this stupid idea here cutting diotes for testing. 😒😒 Thanks for sharing. Good job 👍
My respect, professor... 10 years ago, I learned, in some courses for beginners in the field of applied electronics, that digital multimeters are much more expensive and do almost the same things as digital ones... but who can afford the Fluke brand ( or others of this kind)? do most of them work in NASA laboratories, where precision is paramount?" the basis" of the equipment is analog, in my opinion... digital ones do not replace the experience and skills gained in years of work in this field... so, I prefer analog + technical experience than digital "just so the world can see that we have expensive devices"... with the price difference between analog and digital, I would pay to accumulate more technical knowledge in this field... especially since in my country, many people have "diplomas" obtained "at the vegetable and vegetable market" and use the minimal equipment in public schools and at home they have high-performance technical equipment but the box in which they are kept "has cobwebs"on them... good health and all the best to everyone
I generally hate modifications but would do something such as mounting that 10k resistor to avoid having to remove ribbon cables. I'm old, and I like analog.
10kk risistor .after swich off remove all voltage and close mosfet if you havent .mosfet if on .stay on but after swich off .we need mosfet go off but we must use hight value risistor to not short so we use 10k
a good man nevr try to de grade anyone other mostly the professionals like as u said the first technition is lazy and this is the stupid idea .i nevr coment like this before coz i like to watch u always but now im disappointing little bit coz of your words anyways manyways im also notice you repear so badly sometime so that not means your a bad guy so keep evryones repsct pleas love from PAKISTAN
My dear friend I asked you before please tell the component number for your followers.!!! You changed the mosfet of this tv but you did not my request or other friends that look forward to know that.!!! It is not difficult for you just a taking a look at the component and say its number or part number when you are speaking or explan how to repair the tv!!! Please remember our request next time also the brand of tv !!! Thanks a lot.
Would the resistor reduce brightness to keep the lights lasting longer? Maybe the previous tech messed with the backlights in this TV to something not stock to this model
It's a pull down resistor. To maintain zero volts at the gate when not operational. No relation to brightness. Yes, the previous tech accidentally removed the resistor.
@@geoffroberts1126 I was thinking the same thing. Components usually fail for a reason, but we really won't know unless we have a history of the TV.........IMO.
what about when Onn 75 inch tv flashes and does not turn on but will surprise you at times and turn on with a great picture. II s it the power supply board? Thank You!!!!
Maraming salamat Sir Tevz s pagbabahagi. God bless po s inyong sambahayan.
sir exelint information video great tech
Great work! keep it Sir tevz
Thank you for the good work Sir.
I like the beeping sound too. I'm thinking to put audio out port on my Fluke to go to my hifi system.
Nice repair.
Dear Sir, Thank you for sharing your repair experiences. Your videos are full of knowledge. Thanks for your teaching. 👏👍🙏
Thanks 👍
It was a nice video presentation...
Much like, a two thumbs up! Thank you for sharing your experience. God bless!

Super.. you are absolutely the best... I look many repair videos 🤪🤪. But a few moments later, it works
Thanks my friend.

Parabéns muito conteúdo em seus vídeos, eu que sou robusta, agradeço muito pelo seu trampo e estar compartilhando conteúdo di primeira linha.
Always watching Sir

Nice video I have a problem with my backlights it stay on when the tv is turn off
That strange.
Probably you replaced 6 volts LED with 3 volts. Add another strip of LED it might help
Olá! Saudações! O uso do multimetro analógico em relação ao digital em que melhora o resultado? Agradeço

@@tevzTVTevatronics At a guess, broke it while removing the mosfet. Suggests the mosfet has failed before, which suggests a recurrent issue.

What's the purpose of the resitor?
pull down resistor
what about when Onn 75 inch tv flashes and does not turn on but will surprise you at times and turn on with a great picture. II s it the power supply board? Thank You!!!!
Many reasons, it might be the power supply, mothersboard, panel, led backlight.
Good information sir. This is N chenal or P chanel mosfet 🙏🙏🙏
N channel
@@tevzTVTevatronics thanks sir
If combo pcb wee change new back light but again tv will go blinking please remedy for that black light blinking solution sir
What is trouble shooting
Отличная работа коллега! Скажите, а почему вместо SMD резистора запаивают обычный резистор с выводами? Лайк!
The first tech is accendentaly removed the original resistor.
Can you tell which resistor was removed from the circuit board by reading the numbers. Example R5079 how do you know what resistor is this?
Usually, most PWM circuits' power mosfet uses 10k connected to the gate to source.
What if the power transistor is fine
Bos tevz padayo😁😁😁
Sir what is the value of wire wound resistor you used for discharging mains capacitor
220 ohms 20 watts
short the capacitor leads by using screw driver😅
Ok
Why mosfet died a second time? Thought?
Good work. But which valor the resistor sir?
10k
@@tevzTVTevatronics thanks
@@tevzTVTevatronics why are you using this resistor ?

look at yorsef pleas as u removing he backlight mosfe it can be coused ripped pads this is also a stupid method to remove any mosfet
Sir backlight on blink and off problem sir how this falt solu
A faulty led may be.
