Saving a Fordson Dexta: Part 1

Here's another one of my project, I plan to restore this tractor to a safe working condition. There may be a few months delay before there is a part 2 as I have many other projects on the go at the minute.

Thanks for the video. I'll be keeping an eye out for part 2. I have an old pre 60 Dexta that I'll be trying to rebuild at some point. I've got to drag it out of the field first, though. 😁

Nice score she's beat up but running! So far I have seen only ones that are rough around the edges but are work horses. My brother and I have two of them. One runs and the other we are fixing it up should be running soon. Good luck with the restore.

the reason it didn't want to start well is because you guys were wearing gloves and there was a white wall behind you. The Dexta has a perkins engine, when it sees gloves or something white, it'll assume its winter, and cold, and just no start! My 1958 Dexta is like that..

Looks good its moving,when was the last time this Fordson was used?

I am told that it was last running about three years ago. It was used to cut the grass in a horse field.
