thanks for showing i shimmed the top and it was still a bit loose will do the bottom arm part now ive seen thanks for showing .check my dexta out attatched to a saw bench you cant beat a nice fiddle with these old things love mine ,Cheers ,Ant in sunny Wales . subscribed keep em coming .

Talking out shims is not the only thing to correct the play,
There s the spiral colum that you have to check.

Mine is truly stuck on my Dexta -61!
s.a.e 90 oil for the steering box, 2 pints and you just pour it in down the top of the steering column

Yes, that was my first idea, but I just can’t get a proper grip. It glides off.

And T1
So 957e 7505c talls you it is a dexta from 1957 to 1961.Mine had T1 on it as wall so may be that it is 1960.
