the addicted/calloway sister series is my favorite series ever! please continue on with them! i feel like you will fall more in love with the characters in ricochet and definitely in addicted for now!! its very worth it! ❤
I loved a serpent and the wings of night! I’m so excited for the next one! It gets way better girl slow burn for sure . & also for the addicted series it’s a lot like magnolia parks they grow so much through the rest of the series the rest of the series is way better!!
I’m so shocked I didn’t like it🤣 I’ve heard the second book is better cuz the world building gets more interesting? OKAY FAB I’m excited to get to Rosie and Connor’s ( I think those are their names) story!! I absolutely LOVEEEE magnolia parks with my whole heart 🥹🥰
You need to read all the other shadowhunter books. The Last Hours series takes place in the 1900s and it’s about the children of the Infernal devices. My favorite is probably the Dark Artifices series which takes places in the 2010s. I usually recommend everyone to start the infernal devices then read the other books.
YESSSS!! Im going to be reading the last hours soon, im so excited! Those book covers are so gorgeous too🥹 and then after last hours series I should read the dark artifices?
I'm picking up Clockwork Orange because of you!😅❤ Serpent was one of my DNF too. Seemed very similar to Fourth Wing and Hunger games, but vampire style. I think you will enjoy Spark of the Everflame (free on KU) as a good series to suck you in!! Can't wait for book 4 coming out in June!
I absolutely love divine rivals too!! I’ve heard the book A Fragile Enchantment is supposed to be good if you liked divine rivals. I’m going to read that soon. Love your channel❤️❤️
I think you would love a fragile enchantment if you loved divine rivals and love historical romance with a little bit of fantasy its so good I loved it give it a try and let me no what you think
Such great reviews. ❤📚❤️ It's an older book, but have you read The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern? I haven't read Divine Rivals yet, but it has the historical romance vibes I think you would enjoy. 😊
Thank you so much!! Yess I recently read the night circus!! I enjoyed it but felt a little disappointed by the ending I was expecting a bit more! 🥹❤️❤️
For historical romances I LOVED Bringing Down the Duke. It’s not fantasy but it’s really romantic. Also you might like Half a Soul. It’s a regency fantasy romance and it gets really sweet and romantic. Divine Rivals is sitting on my shelf and I cannot wait to read it!
THANK YOU!!!! I’m going to start getting into historical romances this year cuz I just know I will love it!!! Wrote your recommendations down in my TBR🥰🥰
Totally agree about the way that social media is impacting the books that are published right now now. I feel like authors are banking off TikTok & trends which makes some books genuinely feel like a copy & paste outline.
I haven't read Six of Crows, I started with Shadow and Bone trilogy and i'd recommend you read it. Shadow and bone is kinda crusty BUT KEEP ON READING. It totally gets better in Siege and Storm. I read Ruin and Rising in March and it was my fav book in the trilogy. From all the great things i've heard about Six of Crows, i'd say Leigh Bardugo grew as a writer (its also evident in shadow and bone trilogy) and I think you'd appreciate SOC more😊 side note: im planning on reading SOC soon, im just finishing up my dissertation rn and I have no reading time😭
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the serpent and the wings of night, I always appreciate an unpopular opinion on a hyped up book, haha! I also hate excessive profanity. So glad you loved six of crows and divine rivals! I didn’t love divine rivals quite as much as you did, but still thought it was a great one and actually enjoyed the second book even more 😊
@@SarahsCozyCorner Agreed, it’s just nice to hear different opinions, that’s the whole appeal of BookTube! And yeah, haha, the overuse of swear words just feels like lazy writing, same thing with excessive smut (maybe another unpopular opinion but oh well) 😂
I read six of crows and crooked kingdom But I read shadow and bone before. I loved six of the crows it wassss sooo good. Read crooked kingdom it’s really good too but …. I can’t spoil 😁
I had the exact same thoughts about serpent and the wings of night! Overuse of profanity in books gets on my nerves so much more than other pieces of media. It just makes the writing as a whole come across as immature, ESPECIALLY when there's tons of swearing in the main character's internal dialogue. I'm begging some of these authors to find more creative ways of describing anger and frustration instead of these vulgar phrases that are reminiscent of 12-year old schoolboys ranting on the internet.
I’m SOOO glad I’m not alone in this!! I’m the exact same, overuse of profanity in TV doesn’t bother me the way that it does with books!! Especially in the main characters inner monologue!! It was like that when I was reading fourth wing 😅😅

The first time I read Addicted to you I DNF’ed it. I picked it back up randomly months later and fell in love with the whole series. It’s worth it imo
OKAY thank you!! I will continue on with it!! 🙏🙏❤️
Ahhh so glad the algorithm recommended your channel to me! I feel like we have the same cozy vibe & taste in books! 😍
Oh my goodness I’m so happy you commented so I can find your channel!! The vibes are immaculate and so cozy 🥹🥰🥰🥰

One Day, the book and the show absolutely has my ❤, but it also destroyed me. Aah! Definitely will be a re-read and rewatch! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Mine too!! Especially the show, the last episode had me sobbing 😭😭❤️ phenomenal story!!
i seen somewhere fourth wing had the f word dropped over 300 times 😅
Omfggg that doesn’t surprise me, the f bomb was so overused in that book it got on my nerves a little 😅

Do i have to read the mortal instruments first because i tried but i didnt ike those ?

I LOVE THAT🥹🥰🥰 you’ll love the infernal devices series!!! Thank you bestie!! I just got KU and downloaded spark of the everflame 😍
@@SarahsCozyCorner yay!! Would love to hear your thoughts on Spark of the Everflame, good or bad. But, of course, hoping you’ll enjoy it!❤️❤️
I love divine rivals and six of crows so much and I have heard that a fragile enchantment gives similar vibes to divine rivals.
Ooooo thank you so much!! Added to my never ending TBR list 🤣🥰
I absolutely love divine rivals too!! I’ve heard the book A Fragile Enchantment is supposed to be good if you liked divine rivals. I’m going to read that soon. Love your channel❤️❤️
I read clockwork angel recently and absolutely loved it! I loved it just as much as I do your channel.
I’m so happy you also loved it!! Thank you!! 😭🥰🥰🥰
I think you would love a fragile enchantment if you loved divine rivals and love historical romance with a little bit of fantasy its so good I loved it give it a try and let me no what you think
Definitely added more books in my tbr by watching this video 😍📚
I hope you love them all hehehe 🥰📚
Love your channel!! Thanks for all the recommendations !
Thank you so much!! No problemo 🥰🥰📚

@SarahsCozyCorner I should do a reread, it's been so long... then read Divine Rivals, which I got for my birthday on the 3rd! 🎉📚🎉

Hey girl! Could you please make a video about your kindle? I want to get one but i’m confused about which one to get ❤
Hello!! Great minds think alike!! Just filmed the kindle video today, will be up soon 🥰🥰

Hahaha me too!! I love unpopular opinions sometimes 🤣 I’m glad I’m not alone in this hate! The overuse of swear words gives me the book ick 😅😅

For some reason I’ve always been hesitant to get six of crows. Maybe that’s a book I would probably enjoy more as an audiobook.
Oooo the audiobook would be amazing!! Especially if they have different voice actors for the each character
@@SarahsCozyCorner I’ll keep my eyes out for any sales or just bite the bullet and get it. Anyways, have a good one.
I read six of crows and crooked kingdom
But I read shadow and bone before.
I loved six of the crows it wassss sooo good. Read crooked kingdom it’s really good too but …. I can’t spoil 😁
I couldn’t even pick up that you were kiwi from your accent! What part of nz ?
Unfortunately a Jafa so Auckland!! Are you from NZ?? ❤️
@@SarahsCozyCorner yess Auckland too! If you ever want to borrow from my library you’re welcome too!
Finally, someone said it. I really hate that books are being centred around tropes, especially in fantasy.
Yesssss it just takes me away from the reading experience cuz I can tell the author is trying too hard to make that trope fit in the book 😅😅😅
wait my copy of my dark Romeo is only like 350 pages that’s so odd
I have the UK copy unsure if yours is the US one! :)
I know that you don’t like romances, buttt I read “in five years” by Rebecca Serle and loved so muchhh and I think you would too ❤
Thank you so much for the recommendation 🥰🥰 I’ve added it to my list! I do like romance I promise just not the cheeky kind 🤣
