I’m so glad to hear !!!🤗 Good luck in London, hope you have the best time ! Also if you have any video suggestions I should do based on questions etc please let me know
Thank you so much for the video!! Do you remember if Moonraker Point provided any pillows/blankets? (I heard some other residences did, but I couldn't find much info)
you're welcome! Yes they do provide 2 pillows and a duvet.. some rooms did not get it but just remind them if you don't as soon as you arrive 🤗I have another video addressing some questions about the accomm. and student life if you'd like to check it out x
not much sorry, I only know that atlas is really nice and modern ! Hope this vid helped a bit anyways and otherwise i have another kIng's video more about student life 🤗 & pls subscribe xx
Hi! I’m planning on going to Moonraker on scholarship and I am really really interested in what you have to say about social and night life. Are there many parties? Do people hang out together and have prees beforehand? How did you find making friends? Thanks!!
Aura Townsend hey! Congratsss on your scholarship!! I actually have another video that addresses allll those questions so go check it out 🤗 th-cam.com/video/3F_pjLPC6CY/w-d-xo.html
Hi, your video was really insightful! I wanted to ask tho, which floors provide you with balconies in your room, cause I was looking for a studio at Moonraker but I'm not sure which room would get me one?
Hi....your video is super helpful! As this hall is not catered can you please give me an idea of what you did for food? i realize that there is a nice shared kitchen...is there a grocery store near by? do most students cook? is there take-out or other food services? i'm having a hard time figuring out what the daily routine will be like and the budget....thanks so much!
for food you go to the grocery stores (closest one being a 5 minute walk) or you can get deliveries from uber eats/deliveroo or you can go to places like costa etc for a sandwich which is also max 10 minute walk.. there is actually a lot in the vicinity ok Moonraker 🤗 I cooked a lot personally and so did 2 of my flat mates.. but I also have a flat mate that ordered uber eats for breakfast lunch and dinner ahhah so there's a mix and you can do what you prefer base don your budget of course! Also during the day there are loadssss of places around uni to grab food or even cafes in uni but some people also bring lunches from home to uni so again just depends how much you want to spend.. bear in mind that London is expensive though! hope that helps and that you subscribe to my channel 💖💖
@@its.nathalievictoria thank you so much!!!! it's good to know that there is a grocery and take out so close! your videos have been incredibly helpful...take good care and happy new beginning of term!
Natalie Hatgis I’m really glad they’ve helped you! Thank you, I’ve actually started my year abroad in Paris so it’s an exciting new chapter🤗 good luck with your start of uni!
hey!! super helpful video thank you! I was just wondering if you know which flats have balconies?? Or generally which flats to go for to get a balcony. And also what the flooring is? Is it like A-D/1-5 and which is the highest floor? Thanks!
You're welcome.. hope you subscribe 🤗 I'm sorry I don't know exactly but as far as I remember floors 3-5 had balconies and the highest floor is floor 7.
Hi! I'm not sure if you've answered this but is your room with the balcony a large ensuite or just the regular? If its the large do you know if the regular ensuite has a balcony? Also, what are the studios like, do they have balconies too? Thanks!
the 5th floor is the highest floor with a balcony. I don't know the size my room was but I think just the regular ensuite 🤗 and sorry I dont know if the studios have balconies
Hi, thx for the video. I do actually have a concern about the room in itself. It doesn't look new. The style or aesthetic isn't very modern I'd say. When I compared it to Julian Mark, JM looked so much better. It looked more modern and the aesthetic is nicer.unfortunetly, the location of jm isn't very nice so that's a bummer. My question is that if they renewed the rooms so that they look like jm in kenjis vid or not?
Hi you're welcome, hope it helped! I agree that the rooms are not one bit aesthetic but I have seen faaaarrr worse from visiting other people's accommodation! I am 99% sure that they have not renewed the rooms but honestly they're not that bad if you kinda make it your own. I personally overlooked the aesthetic because of the fact that moonraker has a double bed which is also rare in King's acccom. However, if having a modern place is a deal breaker for you, I would suggest Urbanest. But trust me location of your accommodation is VITALLLLL! You do NOT want to be living too far. Hope that helps and would really appreciate it if you subscribed 😃I'll be posting a new King's vid this Sunday x
Nathalie Victoria thx for the quick reply😄. Ive seen urbanest and didnt quite like it. It looked more like a hotel than anything. Jm was ideal for me bcz i liked the balance of modern to studenty i guess. Have you visited the area near jm bcz it looks grim from the pics ngl. It seemed to be of the poorer parts of london.ps, subscribed bcz the quality is topnotch👍👍
@@abzbaj6080 thank you so much!! really appreciate it 🥰If i'm being completely honest I don't really frequent that area but I have been near there for a house party once and I personally wouldn't feel safe there at night (especially being a girl). But I do know a couple of people that ended up renting houses there after 1st year so I guess it can't be too bad! I agree on Urbanest.. as it's better being in a King's accom. for social reasons too! Good luck with your decision!!
Lorraine Thurston they give you some command strips in the welcome pack but obviously you should bring some more yourself. You’re not allowed to hang up anything but everyone I know still did. Make sure you take pictures of any marks on the wall when you move in so that they don’t blame them on you. I had a slight issue with tape and blue tack staining the wall so maybe just use in smaller quantities and it’ll be ok.
Kayla Yang it really depends on what your priorities are.. mine was distance so that’s why Moonraker was my #1. I remember putting down Atlas because it is modern so it’s a good option
Glad you liked the vid! My flat had 8 rooms but we had a double kitchen as you see in the vid, smaller flats with 4/5 rooms would only have a single sided kitchen. Please subscribe to my channel x
