Ratio is so off - don’t use bittersweet or semi-sweet chips …. Or he used 2 cups of chips?
Soooo, I mixed 1 cup of 73% cacao semi sweet chocolate chips and 2.5 - That’s 2 1 dash 2 cups of water and blended for two minutes. Put in rumplestiltskins and left in the fridge for 18hrs now. It has not thickened. Just thick chocolate water.
What am I missing?
Same it was just watery chocolate but there was some thickening on top

Chocolate doesn't mix with water, I think you have to heat the water up first
She uses 8 fl oz Couverture chocolate chips which have more cocoa butter and less glaze, not semi-sweet, then use hot water, whip, and use less water, 175 gm boiling water (3/4 cup water )
It’s because the recipe is incorrect and will always fail. He swapped out the ramekin contents because all he got was chocolate water, too.
And, he even made his kid part of this fake recipe. Dad of the year🙄

It’s so disappointing when creators knowingly regurgitate fake videos for clicks.
