Every five years, in October, the International Henryk Wieniawski Violin Competition makes the City of Poznań literally breathe with violin music for two weeks. It was of no difference during the recently concluded 16th edition of the event.
We are convinced that the special atmosphere of those days is reflected in the videoclip in which the six finalists of the Competition took part. ✨️
The young virtuosos joined forces to perform "together" a fragment of Ludwig van Beethoven's Sonata in G major No.10, in venues not entirely obvious to the Competition.
And... how do you like it? ❤️

Also noticed that Jane doesn't have her instrument, bow and plays without shoulder rest. What's up with that? The violin that she plays seems very undermaintained. Was she given a instrument just for the shot? No offense to anyone.

You are right, the video was staged. In fact, violinists pretend to play here. This was easier for technical reasons. Recordings of the participants' performances can be found on our channel. Best regards! :)

What some people can do well is to complain. A shame? Really? It is just a short promo video. It is not possible to play Sonata on top of the roof or in a mall, isn't it? ;)
