I think this just proven the contrast different between casual and pro polytopia. It's the defensive ability and understanding of the correct when and where the stars to invest for any improvement at all towards an underdog victory.

Very interesting game, an unit management masterclass!
I think you should have gone cloaks at some points probably instead of smithery, there's nothing cym can really do against that, especially without roads to uncover them

I think the best tactic to defeat various shamans behind doomuxes is cloaks. They don't deal very well with so many daggers. Especially when they have cities with border growth

Cloaks can be nice sometimes, but it's pretty easy for daggers to become centipede food, so I tend to not use them much against Cymanti in particular.

@JusteeniLingueeni but sometimes you can't do much with knights and riders due to border growth. In that case I think cloaks and cheap archers make a difference
