@@thecomment9489 I would say there are a lot, but they’re not museum pieces like a lot of temples in China. Native Americans worship however their tradition dictates. Just because the tour buses don’t stop there doesn’t mean they don’t exist. Other churches are numerous and tour buses do stop so people can take a gander. I live in Taiwan and temples are everywhere and used for worship not just sightseeing.
@@jellysalsa You mean whatever miniscule Natives are left have been allowed to worship as per their Imperialists imposed traditions? And thank goodness that tour buses stop at these Chinese cultural sites only because of that you know that Chinese cultural sites are very well preserved otherwise you would have said communists destroyed those sites. You see the relentless brainwashing propaganda you are fed with.
Actually there are lots of Buddhists in China, because Buddism has a very long history here, and there are four very famous sacred buddhist mountains, you can come and visit them if interested. very beautiful.
@@jeffstrehlow2623Temples are everywhere in China, and there are many giant buddha statues around. The majority of the population believe in Buddha or Taorism. The government doesn't restrict China's traditional religions.
@@helenchen9187 Thankyou. My wife and I visited Guangdong China about 20 years ago and visited the Nanhua Temple where Chan master Hui Neng's body is preserved. We also ate at a nearby vegetarian restaurant. Chan Buddhism advocates vegetarianism, so maybe that's why they had the restaurant near the temple.
The thing I like about Buddhism is that it do not force itself to others.
The Buddhist complex is humongous. That statue is quite beautiful and impressive against the verdant hills.
So much bigger than you realise as well, it's three times the size of Christ the Redeemer in Brazil!
This Buddhist complex is amazing. I love the gorgeous drone footage from 8:21. It's stunning, with the verdant background!👍👍😍
I love ❤️ Buddha statue from China very much 💝💐👍👏💕💜💜💜💜💜💜
Stunning Buddha! Man, I need to get a drone when I get to China.
100% mate
He's back , the excellent drone landscape photographer

Hahaha
Beautiful, so serene.
Visited here in 2016
That Buddha is truly amazing. It’s heartening to some religion and spirituality despite what communists tried to do in the “cultural revolution.”
How many grand native American religious sites exist in the USA and Canada?

文化大革命是必须的,它从根源上改造了传统文化中的封建礼教思想,提高了妇女地位,废除了许多传统文化中束缚底层百姓的繁文缛节,有点像西方文化中十六世纪时的宗教改革。
The buildings or temples are of Indian, Tibetan, Chinese architectural designs.
bro, you should visit the fangong(梵宫)。
You have the same curly hair as the buddha.
Yeah I don't like Buddhism but at least this place in China is beautiful anyway, thank you Harvey God bless.
I am a Christian, I hope there is no harm only watching. But I may not go there ............. 🤭 Thank you for your video.
Hahaha. I am a christian too, but it's cool to check out other religious monuments!
Pathetic
Not bad for a country that doesn't believe in Religion!😜

I think the west has no religion at all, their supposed religion is rainbow 🌈
@@changelieen How about Chan and Pure Land Buddhism? Are both of these still popular in China?
