first time watching one of your MTG videos. i REALLY appreciate that you're playing the game, and not blabbing on constantly like other videos. i especially appreciate that you dont have like a quarter of the playing field covered with a pointless video of you playing and blabbing
I actually used something similar somewhat - Amaz Orzhov Discard pile, he used it to win a tournament of some sorts. Great deck. It might struggle a bit against Boros Convoke if you are going second/have a slower hand and cant clear the board quite easily, but otherwise, it is a great pile. Once I got used to it, I got my winrate to like 65% with more than 100 matches played, Bo1. For sure decent against the current meta EXCEPT boros.
@@markomancikasstandard REALLY needs a couple boros deck bans. Gleeful and/or eos. I dont care. But one mana 3 bodies or turn 2 board full + 2 cards drawn is not standard
@@IovisWill I somewhat agree. But I am simply waiting for the rotation now. My favorite deck is probably Azorius control or Domain + variants. But I know that Wandering Emperor, Domain lands will rotate so I am waiting to see how that will shape the meta. All decks will lose something crucial. Mono red loses Kumano, for instance, so I feel it WILL shape the meta a lot and new decks will arise. My favorite rotation deck that will be gone forever is the damn Temur lands deck. I hate playing against that deck, I hate playing that deck myself. So many manual triggers with Nissa... Fuck that deck 😂 Btw, the Amaz Orzhov deck beats it quite favoribly.

Boros Midrange/ Control players are a lot nicer. Boros Convoke players on the other hand, you described perfectly well.
