Thanks for the nice overview - my Neo arrives in a couple of days, and looking forward to crashing (err... I mean - NOT flying) it soon. Peace!

@@Mexrsri1 oh yeah sorry I looked at the standalone Avata 1 and the launch price was still $799 so almost 3 times the price. But the difference is the neo works straight out of the box for that price, the Avata doesn't. Not sure why people expect the mini 4 pro quality from this drone. It's a fun drone probably better than the first mavic mini which still sells for around AU$200 in used market.
Duh! It's only 200 bucks.
It's not even on the level of the first mavic mini maybe a neo 2 is on the horizon but yer save ypur money this neo is crap I returned it after 3 flights also I tried it in fpv also with Google's and controller and yer unimpressed
If they make compatible with the previous fpv Goggles, it will sell like crazy. I cannot understand why they dont.
That was my only point. I'd happily spend another $200 for Neo, just not $700 to make it work proper
They can only make it backwards compatible so much
@@billykyle Agreed, but.....2 years?
Hi Billy, the US g9v just passed ban Dji drones, so what is gonna happen to peopel own dji drone?
Hasn't passed the Senate. Won't affect already purchased drones.
I'm sure they'll update it to be backwards compatible in a few weeks or so. If there's a lot of people like me that have ordered it already with that assumption, they will get a lot of returns If they don't.
I don't think they will
Does anyone know if the app works for the NEO on the Pixel 7 Pro?
You might need to side load the app
Soooo.... are you going to try using this with the wifi+DJI Fly App+Apple Vision Pro???
I definitely should lol
I believe if you are an experienced drone pilot and know the rules and regulations you should not have to get a part 107 license to fly for profit.
It's like buying a lawn mower and the store ask you if you are going to mow your own grass or mow for a living.
so the early 2000s level video quality is so acceptable??
Can you put your phone in airplane mode and still fly your drone
Yes, but the WiFi needs to be enabled
@@billykyle thank you
