I do love these shows. I think this one is many years old and cut down time wise from the original video. The narrator was perfect for these shows. One thing I have noticed about watching these videos on this channel, Discovery UK & others if you go to a video that has been out for 3+ years it is full of - obnoxious people making really silly comments. Hating this or that about the video. Thank you for these shows. PJ
what a fantastic video! the food creations look absolutely delicious, and the presentation is on point. however, i can’t help but wonder if the focus on aesthetics overshadows the actual taste. sometimes, simplicity can be way more flavorful than all the fancy plating. what do you all think?
great video! i really enjoyed the way you showcased the creativity behind these food creations. but honestly, aren't some of these dishes just a bit over the top? like, who actually needs a dessert that looks like it’s from outer space? sometimes simpler is better, right?

Am I the only one wondering about them placing the chopsticks up like that? Isn't that a huge cultural no-no? I've heard it repeatedly that chopsticks should never be stood up that way since it's reminiscent of incense sticks.
In Japan, China and Korea, chopsticks are an ingrained part of burial and death rituals as well as the main eating utensil. Chopsticks are used for food offerings either at a burial or Buddhist shrine in memory of the deceased. In this ceremony, chopsticks are placed upright in a bowl of rice. Thank you google. That's why when I see people sticking up chopsticks like that I am baffled and wanted to educate them as someone who has a Chinese blood and an Asian. But you know people these days so yeah. I'd rather not 😑
Greeks never claimed ownership of baklava or other food and pastry that's clearly middle-eastern, but exists now in their cousines. on the contrary, ppl praise those recipes for how good and tasty they are and give props to the countries they originate. but it seems you're a little butthurt for some reason.
Uncle Roger: Who the hell cooks fried rice like that? Get an Asian uncle and let him cook. You don't need a thermometer for that. That fried rice is so sad. Where's the MSG? Where's the MSG? Haiyah!
That wouldn't be your made by your parents teaching you how to really make it Kimchi, yeah bland, almost no flavour, also they usually make a paste and sometimes ad shrimp. etc
Who wrote the script? I paused the video after hearing "Baklava is a desert from Greece" and also Galata Boregi is obviously a pastry originated in Istanbul, Galata. How does this channel expect its viewers to continue watching a content that is not true? Very disappointing.
Ya know… it’s shi like this that makes me understand why people hate Americans so much. It’s fine to showcase other cultures food but dammmnnn at least show factual information. That’s not kimchi, those desserts aren’t Greek. Idk what else is wrong because I don’t know all the cultures but imma assume that it’s all just wildly inaccurate 😅
BAKLAVA. IS. NOT. A. DESSERT. FROM. GREECE. UGH Even the word "burma" comes from the Turkish word "burmak" which means twisting in English like the chef does in the video.
This delicious food is not only in Greece, I'm from Bulgaria and we have this and I think originally coming from Turkey
It’s middle eastern, in Syria we have that too.
Stop taking credit. Lol.
It actually comes from Austria. (Not australia)
I am watching this show from childhood ❤
Haha yes! I always watched this right after comming home from school
Yeah, watching this before breakfast probably wasn't a good idea - my stomach is rumbling and my mouth is watering.
I'm already a minute in 😂
Just surrender and get some if you can!!!🤣🤣🤣

I can hear Uncle Roger's "Haiyaaaa" hearing about the fried rice being made with fresh rice and not day-old or drier rice.
Never even heard of the French thing this is cool y'all should do a Portuguese dessert

Yes, it’s typically considered a faux pas in most countries where chopstick use is common
@@Hydrang3aH4mm3rl0ck Thank you :) I was questioning what I was taking for fact for many years
Yep, it is a thing. Makes me wonder if any Asian people were actually involved in making this video
@@KitMcCat If there were, I'm guessing their concerns were ignored :/

Yes, it is
why would the kimchi have red pepper flakes in it but looks white like columbus bruh…. come on that cant taste good.
❤❤❤❤
❤❤
Ooof I hate seeing someone slice on a mandolin without a guard 😵💫😵💫😵💫
Yum😋
Sweetly delicious
Delicious
Food worker??? That’s a new one.
The Greeks' problem of owning everything. baklava is turk dessert.
take their land for hundreds of year, they take your dessert forever

I love balaklava
How can you love a food that you mix up with a type of clothing
😊❤❤
👍🌞!!

That kimchi is so sad. Too little chili flakes, no shrimp paste, gochujang, radish, pear juice, glutenous rice paste.
I didn't know that KimChi was so involved and active
Baklava is Turkish and it's popular in all previous Ottoman Empire area
galactoboureko is greek. baklava is turkish.
That's not Kimchi..
It looks like really badly made kimchi with no flavor
That wouldn't be your made by your parents teaching you how to really make it Kimchi, yeah bland, almost no flavour, also they usually make a paste and sometimes ad shrimp. etc
it looks like they were going for baek-kimchi, but it's definitely not authentic
I was thinking the same thing but then they put red pepper flakes in @@ungreebledbouba
and how do you know?
😋😋😋😋😋
Déjà vu
bro that's called fried rice lol
Those arent french artisans if they use an injector and stencils. Lol
this is not kataifi it is Konafa, Kataifi is something else entirely it is stable in Ramadan pastry in egypt
How can a dessert that even has a Turkish name belong to the Greeks? These are Turkish desserts.
I AM DEEPLY OFFENDED BY PEOPLE SAYING BAKLAVA IS FROM GREECE AS A TURKISH PERSON
that's the saddest kimchi I've seen
I love your videos, can I get a comment heart?❤
💩 here you go.

baklava is from ancient mesopotamia. no modern society can claim ownership.
Not greece

"your" can not speak good 😂
