Not only does she know and understand the dysfunction of the family he was raised in, but as a psychologist, she fully understands his various psychosis’ and why he should never be in power. She is also a writer and has since written a best seller about her uncle, as further warning, but from her first interviews, I felt she was incredibly courageous and patriotic to come forward.

The quote reminds me of “mob mentality” and how emotions move some people to be swayed by their prejudices and convictions based on how they “feel” and how they perceive a group they are a part of “feels” as well. Of course, it’s not fundamentally scientific, but unless someone is not ruled chiefly by their emotions and prejudices, it’s easy to see how they can be convinced and swayed wayward.
