      WildOne The Minecraftian Yes in this case mom and 5 babies were living in the attic. We chased mom out, gave her babies back, and repaired the hole. Mom got her babies, and our client got their problem solved safely and permanently.

    My guess was to get the baby raccoon to alert its momma so that she can come back for and relocate it. Raccoons can't count.

      Varjokani we do that to to make the baby vocalize so mom will respond to its cries. This way we can get mom to relocate the babies on her own. The baby raccoon was not hurt at all as you can clearly see as mom leads him away.

      No attack at all. Read the video description. This is a part of a humane raccoon removal procedure. These raccoons were carefully removed from our clients attic and safely reunited with mom. The raccoons were not hurt or displaced, and the entry point on the roof was properly repaired. Thanks for watching and commenting.

      No, all what has to be done BY EVERYONE is getting an electrician to install a electrical wire. Not too high or too low. Raccoons get shocked and never come back. They will remember. Its done in Germany.

    This year have many passive mothers, they had too many kits to consider defending them all in addition to some of them getting the gist that eating here was safe with one family unit being seen comfortably eating around humans. Will need to see if that passivity is held onto into next season and next spring when food is more scarce and they have time to forget their treatment.

    The mother is smart she hollered at her baby to get down off the roof like any mother would. Raccoons are very intelligent. They're only protective of their young and their food. Sometimes they fight amongst one another but not to people. Unless you Corner them or hurt their baby they're not aggressive.

      It is incredible but I will mention infanticide isn't unique to humans. Many animals sometimes kill their own babies.

      We didn't hurt her baby. This was a small part of our removal process. We love moms like this. They do a great job of quickly relocating there litter.

      My best advice would be to work for an established company for awhile. Learn the trade, techniques, and how to price. Wildlife removal work can be difficult. A few years experience in the industry will make starting a successful business much easier.

      @@breezynxah8770 it's not unsafe. Mom just wants her baby and had no interest in attacking anyone. You will notice as soon as we handed her baby she backed down the roof with it. This method gets mom relocating her litter. Thank you for your concern though!

      It won't damage the tail if picked up by the base. Raccoon tails are stout. We see mother raccoons carry their babies like this regularly. Also it is the best way to get the babies to cry prompting a faster response from mom. We do our best to humanely solve wildlife problems and would never intentionally harm an animal.

      stoneoffarel that baby was living with its mom and siblings in our customers attic. We were humanely removing the raccoons and making sure the family stayed together.

      What if the baby fell? Why don't you put babies in a box like I have seen other humane animal removal companies do and put the box somewhere on the ground close by and the mother gets them out of the box herself? I have seen videos like this many times on YT. To do this in this manner on the peak of the roof is just insane imo. Dangerous for the person and for the Mom and her baby. Just saying...looks crazy.
