I actually beat this mod first time today. It's fun to play but it has a good amount of flaws. - Some missions take too long for a game with no checkpoints. - There's a few automatic missions which I didn't like because I wanted to go save my game. - There was a ton of bs enemy placements. Like that one mission where you go to the Yakuza base via boat and you have one enemy corner camping near the gate.
I saw someone else point this out, but the plot does feel way too fan fiction at time. With Giovanni just easily taking out all the Forelli's enemies, taking over the Leones merging them somehow, and getting to know so many people and always end on good terms with them. He even kills Claude and Tommy. The suggestion that Giovanni is gonna kill Tommy is a bit weird, as this is still 2001 and a promo website for VC reveals Tommy is still alive in 2002.
I've looked into VC blindfolded, but sadly due to cars/ped being random and completely changing your direction all the time, it's impossible to make any significant progress. Same would apply to III, but maybe one day
This mod is pretty good imh but obviously lacks testing near the end and revisions on the missions and story telling, having at least AI voice acting would be great, and making the missions more interesting for the repetitive ones, and a complete redesign if the last few missions for a big climax, the claude fight was dry af and should have been a boss fight 1v1 instead of being set on the light house since it'd too small of a space and he was just exposed to be shot
