I know this video is old.. I just found it :) But I wanted to add, having played ark evolved through the whole story, I believe the lack of a tutorial is on purpose. In the Ark world, you wake up naked, alone, and with no memory on a beach... so not knowing anything is kinda how it's planned. :) At least, in my opinion.. lol
No worries. I'm still playing this map and haven't finished it yet lol yeah I get that, but I feel this game is way to advance not to have something educating you a little on tasks. I feel like I've looked online a lot to figure steps and what needed to be done. One recording use to take me 5-6 hours of running around headlessly lol Its fun and there's soo much to do, a lot to explore and discover. I've yet to dive deep into the ocean and fully explore the winter area and I've put probably 200 hours into the game. I haven't even done a boss fight. Breeding itself is like a full time job. I usually do this off camera as I work from home most days, so put my console on and just breed here and there to fasten the process, but I've spent like 50 hours on that alone. I love the building aspect of this trying to build a big haven for myself and the dinos, not that good at it yet, but I'm tempted to try some building mods since they looks so good. This game took abit of time on me, but I've been hooked on it now. I can't wait to finish this map and explore all the other maps. I heard the 3rd map is coming out in Sept. also, so still a long way to go on this map however. Sorry for the long winded comment, but I apperciate you sharing your views :)

I agree. Its been quite the experience for me so far a lot to learn and do. First 20 hours were tough, but I feel Ièm getting a little hung of things and still ton to learn about this world lol
I have to fix the setting. I saw some commands removed fog and cloud and it was much better lol feels like it needs a lot of commands and some mods to make it look better.
@Joungblood666 yeah, I've heard the pc players say they have to do a little with the settings. It also wasn't optimized very well at launch. Most of the creators I watch are pretty happy with it now especially the scorched earth map. I hope it's working out good for you now it's such a great game with so many different ways to play it.
@@Joungblood666 Yeah PC will always be better hahah. I do hope to tranistion to it at some point. I feel I stick to PS alot becuase of their exclusives.
I've always wanted to play this and other games like it No Man Sky, Subnautica, Outer Wilds etc. They seem very unique and enjoyable, so I decided with this one first lol

This is a huge immersive game. Probably should watch some yt tutorials to learn buttons, commands, objectives, etc.
