Contract law has links to the bible. A contract shouldn’t include violating criminal code. Looking at the etymology of the word consideration it relates to contemplation and meditation.

Thank you for the video. However, this STILL does not make sense to me! I am a Commercial Mortgae Broker & Real Estate Agent. I have organized Multi-Millions dollar transactions. The terms are used interchangeably. In Real Estate we have "PURCHASE CONTRACT" or sometimes its called a "PURCHASE & SALE AGREEMENT" (PSA) WHY? There is definitely Valuable Consideration (Earnest Money Deposit), etc Lease Agreement = Valuable Consideration is given in the deposit. WHY is it called an Agreement? A Non Disclosure "Agreement" makes sense because there is no Valuable Consideration given. You never see like $1 in a NDA LOL BTW, in some jurisdictions a Verbal Contract is STILL LEGALLY BINDING and VALID. Its just that it is "UNENFORCEABLE" HOWEVER, what if the verbal agreement were RECORDED?! (Like on a Zoom Meeting or something?) Should that be enforceable? Contract Law is very interesting: EX: If you lose the signed copy of the Agreement or Contract is it automatically unenforceable? There are times when you can still prove that a contract DID exist based by the ACTIONS of the parties in that relationship. Fascinating to me.
Is a Written Agreement binding and enforced?
Great video
