I'm enjoying casually going through MoP. Doing the Loremaster route on my first character.
I'll "grind" later on for mounts/toys as there's a bunch I need still.
Honestly the bronze cost to upgrade is ridiculous.
Being a tank I know exactly how it feels right now.
That anxiety thing is on point.

I really enjoyed this video and agree with a lot of your takes. Especially the disappointment with alt leveling. I must have also missed something, but assumed since there were like over 10 achievements for getting threads on your cloak that explicitly called out alts starting with more power, it was going to be actually ... like, noticeable. I do enjoy the mode because of the very chill atmosphere, and things being broken is sometimes fun, in a way. But now that I'm 70 and have most of the cosmetics I wanted (including Tusks thanks to the daily lockout on retail!!), I think I might be already done with it by the end of the week. But still a fun little experiment, all in all.
Oh, another thing I love about the mode is being able to level in endgame patch content like Landfall, Isle of Thunder, Timeless Isle etc. A new player is never going to experience that stuff naturally while leveling because they're thrust into the next expansion's leveling zones once they hit a new bracket. WoW has already struggled a lot in keeping their old content relevant, so I think a system like this is an interesting step. I'd still prefer rewards that kept old content evergreen (like what FFXIV does), but I appreciate that they are trying something new with MoP Remix. The community banding together around a limited time event gives the content a fresh and unique appeal.
Interesting how after WotLK you felt anxious about tanking because that happened to me too. Even at end of an expansion when it’s easier i think I go too slow for people and then anxiety sets in. So i default to DPS roles.
The Tank scaling is still broken. unfortunately. So alot of the deaths arent even the tanks fault. its the game lol.
Both are wrong actually. It is and always will be the healers fault. As a Resto shaman main i know that regardless of outcome its the healers fault.
When I first started playing WoW when it originally came out, I played with 4 real life friends. We did most of our original leveling to 60 in dungeons, and I loved it. That lead to a guild, and raiding which I loved. Then my friends slowly stopped playing, guild broke up, and WoW has never been the same. Everything I do is solo content, but I miss raiding, and dungeons. I never cared about wiping, or slow progression, but honestly pugging has always sucked for me. Rage quits, know-it-alls, no mechanics, impatiences... WoW has just never been the same for me. I watch your videos, and it makes me miss the past even more. :)
Find a guild you love and it'll fill a part of that hole!
I also chose a tank, a blood DK. Next toon will be a WW Monk probably.
Hey Mike. Been watching since WoD for your guides, love that you're still around. Just always kinda lurked and watched without commenting, but I thought I'd come out of the woodwork momentarily to say I'm still enjoying your content. I like how chill these weekly episodes are and it's nice to see another collector after my own heart.
I've been enjoying the Remix a ton myself, and yeah the scaling is rubbish, but the stats compensate for it after a while. It's more of a question of how much do you want to invest in one character or move on to level up others with a max xp cloak. It'll be interesting to see how people feel about this after the first full month. Would be nice to see Blizzard make some tweaks to make it a full 10/10 experience, but I'm still enjoying myself immensely nonetheless.

Blizz seems to be reacting pretty quick to feedback so I'm holding out a full judgment on the game mode until it's in its final form.
I made a Void Elf Priest. I haven't played retail since MOP remix came out either. I was a tank back in the early days as well but now just DPS mostly due to the time constraints for playing. But i am really enjoying MOP remix
Doing the same about allied races for their heritage eventually.
I feel like that Sha thing is a dispell mechanic? Not 100% sure, but that's my recall.
easy scrap is a great addon aswell (the one from BFA). I have 2 filters for it.
On both filter ive made sure its only armor/weapons that can be scrapped-
One goes for quaility (green)
And the other thats specific ilvl. (340).
Then it wont be scrapping gear og gems i might want to keep.
I kinda remember on the sha of violence back in MoP you HAD to spell reflect that skill or be prepared to use a major cd as a warrior or you'd just be instagibbed as a warrior on the challenge mode difficulty. I am not positive on that one since it's been a hot minute. Either way that's just the scaling, even on heroic that shouldn't oneshot you.
I wouldn't play remix without narcissist.
Same, I understood that the stats of the cloak will carry over, I have 15 charakters I need to level up and not having the stats that you farmed up is quite disrespectfull.
The monastary wasn''t your fault. The boss hits hard but he isn't supposed to 1 shot. You essentially use damage soaking abilities when he casts that. Scaling is off. Happened to me once in the jade tempel. Cleared it, easy time. Had the same dungeon again and I was hammered by trash mobs. In the end they kicked me but it wasn't even my fault, scaling was off. I'm a main tank since mop andI even explain mechanis to pogs in the raids since I've done them all plenty of times. Basically scaling is off, that's about it. I love mop remix despite those minor flaws though. Most fun I had in this game since the start of Legion.
Tuning is SO HORRIBLE in MoP Remix. I did a Heroic Scenario at level 10, and I carried two level 70s. They both got one shotted by the boss and then I had to to all the damage as a mage.
And yeah, Blizz bait and switched the Cloak carry over stats. Massive difference from the PTR,

Maybe that's what a PTR does?
My ALTs are not Uber powerful, but i have still not seen any level 70 being able to do just 50% of the damage my level 10-25 Arcane Mage could pull of 😄
And here is me... Who just quested top Level 70😂
Bro you need to use Ignore pain on the warrior. This will help with those 1 shots.
Great vid tank anxiety just rember there will always be a ass dps out there. You usually get one of the three dps being ass. Though as a tank I once ran a dungeon with all cloth casters owweee.
I’m playing Paladin tank and I’ve done three scenarios BY MYSELF cause they keep putting me in ALONE and I’ve solo’s them just fine without needing anyone else’s help between 45-50 so I don’t know what everyone’s talking about broken scaling cause I’m doing just fine.

Dungeons should be room by room, so everyone gets to play.
Don't be disappointed in that... I'm glad they don't let you carry the cloak over u know why the games broken atm people can solo heroic raids
I actually enjoyed MoP Remix a lot till the day frog farmers came. You're like 250k HP and the other guy is a 2mil raid boss.
These guys, many of which are from top guilds ruined the whole game!
I wish Blizzard reset all their cloaks to 0 and nerf all the hyper spawns so that all can have the same conditions to lvl their cloak doing normal activities.
How can you be excited when everything gets nerfed into the ground and you need to grind for hundreds of hours to get all the stuff. Players time is not respected at all
Well you aren't really expected to farm every single cosmetic. Most things are actually available in the normal game anyways.
Panda remix is horribly boring tbh
Oh and the cloak stats are tied to the threads achievements , the higher thread achievement you have the more stats go onto the cloaks of alts to my knowledge

We only had 1 guy call the group noobs in a dungeon , but in the raids ive experienced the same people were really receptive to figuring out mechanics
The copium.... why farm for 2 month to have the content be doable to then not be able to enjoy it. Get some achievements and rewards fuck the endgame and gear.
that was my idea. i bought the sha and huolon mount along with some red goat that looked funny. no way would i ever upgrade my gear and raid for better gear. you aren’t gonna keep your gems and stuff so what’s the point if i could get a crazy rare rare mount
