I love this bag. I've made several and I do line them. they are great gifts.
Very useful as can be used as a “project bag” for both knitters and crocheters - especially when you are standing in line waiting for your turn, doctors offices, bus stop… etc. easy to carry around. Thanks so much Crystal. So many beautiful tutorials..so little time. I need to wear two watches like you! Lol.

I think this is a lovely bag... It gave me the idea to possibly make it for groceries, but instead of using regular yarn, recycling all of the plastic bags I tend to acquire, and making plarn... I'll let you know how it works out! Thanks for the video! 🤗

I can’t believe the number of these bags that have been made in the past week!!! I am guilty, as well as soooo many more. It is an easy pattern and works up so quickly. I was just on one of ur playlists for washcloths and just literally made some washcloths w this stitch I love it it's so easy and fast THANK YOU for always coming out w cool bags. I live crocheting bags my sister's all 3 of them have a couple. I crochet my youngest sisters dogs they are both just 2lb and the other one is like 4 pounds so they are always cold at night w the air conditioning so I crochet them both sweaters out of Mandela ombre they turned out perfect. Love ya girl. I have 2 more treatments left to go then my radiation w start maybe 8 weeks possibly 12. Then its just gonna be a bad memory . Keep up the good work u inspired me so much well taught me everything I know about crochet I wish u knitted because I know U would be able to teach people so very easily. Thanks give those fur babies all some pets from me

I was looking for different ways to do handles for market bags and saw this one. I like bag and handles but I'm into making my bags as fast as possible. So I converted into doing the actual bag in the round so there would be minimal sewing.
I really loved how this turned, except for one thing. I have an old shoulder injury from my early 20's that doesn't do well with narrow straps. So now I have another bag done and am in the process of adding the handles. One difference is the wider handle will go through the narrow one. Will see how that works out. Really not that it matters much as these are just grocery bags.
I don't normally do a pattern but just make it up as I go. Like a few rows of a star stitch, maybe some crossed stitches, or puff, popcorn, V sitches, etc. Whatever looks good to me at the time.
The bag I'm finishing has a round bottom, then 2 rows of hdc in 3 colors, sc plus chains rows, V stitch rows, finish with HD edging.
Well wanted to say your handle tutorial is excellent. This old lady just wants to play by making something useful. My bags are always loved. The greatest thing is I have a combination of neuropathy and arthritis, so no more split plastic or ripped paper bags. It doesn't matter if is acrylic or cotton, they hold up.
