She was in a medical emergency, hadn't eaten in 3 days, pumped full of pharmaceuticals, and she slipped into this vision of water, water, like a waterfall, I think. ... and she had the face of child-like wonder, like you two did. ... sooo beautiful! I don't know why but I cried almost the entire video. I love the water falls. I could have never envisioned such a massive amount of water slamming over the cliffs. And to see the pure joy in both your eyes makes this absolutely perfect. Thank you for this journey.

My experience was in the United States for a few years and a big difference I noticed is that I rarely eat fresh food, and meat is a little expensive, not that it's free here, but fresh produce is relatively cheap. I currently live in São Paulo and I miss the beautiful American neighborhoods

Iguaçu was not at its maximum power, the water level was low because the rainy season in spring is at the beginning, from December when summer starts, Iguaçu shows all its power with the waters at maximum.

10:32, that is not a Iguana, thats is a Teiu/Tegu lizard, they can be very aggressive towards humans and domestic animals, but usually eats eggs, birds, small rodents and fruits.
It is native to Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil, but has become a serious invasive problem in Florida and Georgia.
I thought I had seen some beautiful places however, Iguazu Falls has stolen my heart!! Incredibly Majestic ❤️ I can't say enough about how you both continue to amaze me on the narration and quality you give to us on your incredible journey videos!! I was just there 3 weeks ago with my wife after visiting her family in Goias . Foz de Iguazu was nice but the cataratas was incredible and so powerful. We took aride in one of those large inflatable boats what an exciting time, they even soak u with the cold water next to the falls. Pronounce Reais as hay eyes .Good luck with the rest of ur travels

So come! For you it is extremely cheap due to the exchange rate. 1 dollar is more than 5 reais which is the local currency. Brazil is beautiful, very rich in nature in almost all its extension. And look, we're not even talking about the wonderful beaches!

With something between 100 to 150 dollars a day, you can have a full "first level" travel experience in Brazil.
And in Europe they say Brazil don't preserve its nature. I've been all around the world and have never seen any country that preserves wildlife and forest preservation as Brazil do.

Oh no! You missed one of the coolest parts of the area. Close to the falls there is a bird sanctuary called, parque das aves, just minutes away from the falls. And I promise it is completely amazing! Worth the trip there. Even if you crossed to Argentina already I promise you it is worth going back too. Anyway great video we have been there 3 times and every time it takes my breath away. ❤ tanks for sharing. ❤
Unfortunately, an incident took a toll on the park recently. Two jaguars entered and killed the vast majority of the flamingos there. However, it is still a good place to visit, of course.

I’m Brazilian living in michigan less than 200 miles from Niagara Falls, visited Iguassú Falls more than 30 years ago and still looking fantastic, and giving goose bumps, thanks for the pictures.
Surely one of the wonders of the world, I was blown away when seeing this as a tourist, but now I live permanently in the south of Brazil, which is an excellent country.
STUNNING is what comes to mind, seeing the falls. Having seen the Canadian side of Niagara, I remember the feeling of all that water and what you experienced is so much more. Absolutely beautiful and the Brazilians have done a great job with the crazy walkway, platform and an elevator.
I am drawn to water... Niagra is stunning, but this place is magical! 😊

We have a waterfall close to where I live (Noccalula Falls). We gather there in the park for family reunions, birthday parties or just family time. We think its a big deal but nothing compared to that. Just WOW! Incredible!

I have been to niagra falls in canada and this place trumps it a million times over. I've seen many waterfalls in Iceland and this place still is way better! Can't wait to see it from the Argentina side.
Legend goes that, when Eleanor Roosevelt visited the Iguaçu Falls, she said: "My poor Niagara!"
Don't forget to go to the Bird's Park, which is near to Iguazu entrance in Brazil, in front of the helicopters.
Be prepared for the Devil's Throat on the Argentinean side. Unforgettable too. Try to arrive early.
In Brazil, do also the Macuco Safari, which will take you up river on open boats where the boat enters under small waterfalls. It's inside the Iguazu Park. Take care about the "quatis". They bite and can steal your food.
Do not eat at Devil's Throat restaurant as they don't have protection. You can have a reserved area on the 2nd station when coming back where you can eat in peace without being harassed by the "quatis".

In the state of Paraná, many years ago there were falls larger than the Iguaçu Falls, they were called "Salto de Sete Quedas", considered the largest in the world until then, in 1982 it was flooded for the construction of the Itaipu hydroelectric plant, the second largest in the world.
An indication of a place to visit, if you want to see birds, called "Parque das Aves", on the other side of the road that leads to the Iguaçu Falls. And in case you want to see something different, it's one of the biggest hydroelectric plants in the world called "Itaipu", they are very fun tours to do in "Foz do Iguaçu"

Shame you missed out on the Bird Park (Parque das Aves), I think you would've loved it. Anyway, congratulations for such a magnificent footage, all your excitement reminds me a little of the first time I visited the Falls some 20 years ago or so. Since then, I visited it again a few times, and every time you do it, you experience something new. If you decide to come again, take some time to check out some of the other attractions, like the Bird Park I mentioned and also the Itaipu Power Dam (the biggest hydroelectric power plant in the world).

I'm Brazilian and I live in Minas Gerais, don't forget to visit the beauties of Minas. I loved the video of the falls, really an immensity of beautiful water! About the lizard, this is not an iguana, it is a Teiú and they are very aggressive, they attack with their long and hard tails, it is not recommended to approach ;-) this one looks like it was missing its tail.

I went on Google maps and through a bit of luck, I found a street view of the hike and found the elevator just before you mentioned it. I felt like I was right there hiking the falls with you! So breathtaking! I didn’t get wet, but sure enjoyed the hike! 😃

This trip / adventure you are doing is very nice, may your stay in Brazil be very happy and blessed. As they are in Paraná, it is worth visiting Curitiba, capital of the state, the city is considered the best capital in the country, and the city and region has many tourist attractions, such as the rock formations of Vila Velha in the city of Ponta Grossa, and the Graciosa road, in Serra do Mar.

We live 2.5 hours away from Niagara Falls in Canada. And Niagara is awesome but Brazil's waterfall is spectacular. Amazing guys.

Here in Paraná we also have the Vila Velha Canyons. They're mostly sandstone, so it's being carved slowly by the rain. There you can also see wolves (our lobo-guará), ocelots, coatis, wildcats, deers, armadillos, woodpeckers, doves, giant anteaters, various types of birds, among others. Very beautiful place.

Magnificent! Imagine being a labourer on that construction site being built. The paths and lookout points. Far out man. A joyful day at work. The adrenaline rush with the feel of mother nature's power. Be hard moving onto the next job I imagine.

I’m Brazilian and Canadian. Unfortunately I don’t know Foz do Iguaçu Falls yet. I knew Niagara Falls, it’s beautiful but not comparing, the Brazilian Falls is terrific, wonderful!!🥹🥰😍

Dear Snow and Curt, it nice to watch your videos in Brasil. I visited Foz do Iguaçu 3 times as far as I remember, and it's amazing. Nice to see both of you enjoying it. It's also nice, and deserve mention, the way you guys can deal with Portuguese language. There's is now boundaries for you 2 ( or 4 with cats). You guys must go on the Brazilian coast from Florianópolis Island/city all the way northeast up to Lençóis Maranhenses park ... It's really worthy... BUT do this after Feb (after Summer heavy rains season, with fewer turists and lower prices)... God Speed !
