As the son of the guy who started the Lancaster & Chester Railway museum (now passed former retired Trainmaster for the L&C Ed Sharpe), this warms my heart. Only ever seen her in B&W colors in the L&C lettering. This is just amazing. The Difco Dump Car does stand out like a sore thumb, though.
I Normally don't watch short train videos but this one was AWESOME!! Great Job! That Train looks awesome,I love the looks of it, the body style if you will. I see its a 2-8-0. That's a Baldwin built train right? What year was this train? Im guessing Lancaster & Chester were the original owners? If I may make a suggestion,it would be so cool if you did a documentary on this train, like who first had it & do interviews & go through its history & add this video 2 it & Talk about NewHope & Ivlyland.
EvanF1293 officially 16.7 miles from New Hope to Ivyland/Warminster. In order, stations along the route include: New Hope, Lahaska, Buckingham Valley, Wycombe, Rushland, Ivyland, Warminster (SEPTA).
Another gem! I feel the spirit of steam railroading - as close to a time machine I'll ever get. NH&I and you deserve major kudos. Thank you again!

What a treat ! She sounds great.
One of the best steam train videos I have ever seen
What a great step back in time.
That CNJ three chime fits her perfectly! My absolute favorite whistle they use on NH&I(L&C) 40
Handsome train, and beautiful scenery.
Thanks Joseph
Beautiful shots
This is one of most exceptional steam train videos I've ever seen. An artistic masterpiece.
Please make DVDs. I'd buy your whole catalogue.
The shot with the train & Farmall tractor was great.
The team of Fusco and Lerro hit a home run again!
Again, an excellent job!
Awesome video man. You do great work.
A great time machine! Fabulous shots!
Amazing camera shots! Love the train. Thanks for sharing!
This is gorgeous. Well done.
Stellar Video Joe, as usual... I have folks in Bucks County, I'm surprised I haven't made it to NH&I yet...
Great Video, Joe! Keep up the awesome filming and camerawork skills!
Great video, as usual.
Wow, great stuff. I don't know why it took me this long to see it. This reeeally temps me to buy a DLSR...

So if I'm correct does the New Hope and Ivyland Railroad got 15 or 16 miles of track of the former reading branch line they use?????

Well done, old boy.
What if 40 can run excursions to Ivyland and onto Septa mainlines again in the future since last year!
Bellissimo WOW!!
That whistle sounds like it’s former PRR
Seth Simmons CNJ 3 chime replica, same whistle as CNJ 113.
Yesm nice video. Good camera skills
i wish that i could be the Fireman shoveling coal in to the firebox Just doing it Like Nike!
What happened to 40 running excursions to Ivyland and onto Septa mainlines now? Hope she comes back to it even more in the future!
The bell sounds like Great Western #90 or Union Pacific #4466. The whistle itself sounds a lot like Strasburg #7312.
Erich Diebold Well they were both built by the Baldwin Locomotive works so that must’ve been their standard bell type for newbuilds.
Endlessly jealous.. killer video!
I got to asky what camera/s and video editor do you use to make your videos look so great?
I'm curious as these freight cars for photo and video excursions and living history displays or are they used actively for revenue service?
