In the White Dwarf Magazine #498 it is explained what happend to Titus between Space Marine 1 and 2. In short: After SM1, Inquisitor Thrax was frustrated that he was unable to find any corruption in Titus. Unconvinced, Thrax kept Titus in stasis. Later on Thrax died on a mission and another inquisitor investigated his possessions and found Titus. Afterwards Titus served in the Deathwatch until he was found by the Ultramarines and SM2 starts.
I was just about to comment about this, but you supplied way more detail than I would, so no point. And good job! I hope we get some deathwatch customization options!
@@distinctbutter9075 thanks, sry for stealing your comment! xD I think we most likely will recieve deathwatch customization, due to the fact that the deathwatch plays an important role for Titus character in SM2. Besides, the devs promoted a Season Pass, which can be presumed as a progression system like any other recent season pass. If that is the case, then we might recieve a season that focuses on one specific theme, for instance a space marine chapter with their own accessiories, relics (weapon skins), helmets, armor skin variations and perhaps finishers.
@trieuackerman9372 Absolutely! I'm just saying that we could absolutely see more classes added. Apothecary, librarian, terminator??? The possibilities are endless with such an extensive I.P. I'd also love to see story DLCs. Maybe a prequel regarding Titus in the deathwatch???
2 other people in a campaign* "up to 3 players" And last I heard, the co-op players just take over one of the NPCs with you. Guess that doesnt mean _no_ customization but.. Yes, those are unique models. Their swarm tech is actually really good..when it works. WWZ had some issues with hordes basically becoming ghosts. Also, I wish I could remember the clip, but I'm pretty sure I saw some Eldar. Anyway, thanks for the vid.
If it makes you feel any better, focus entertainment is no longer a part of embracer group. They also said that only skins and battlepasses will be paid for micro transaction wise. So everything else will come in free updates to the game.
Em? The game is made by saber (Russians), their (owlcat) last game Rogue Trader has 0 woke, coz we don't appreciate this shit. And the pink hair woke writer was fired 1-2 years before SM2 release date, so I won't see anything woke could be in game.
@@Ddarth_sidious Owlcat is a little bit woke. They just don't shove it in your face like other studios. Kingmaker was much worse about it. Rogue Trader had a tiny bit also, but it wasnt to the point of being as super noticeable. They also are small enough to care about feedback - but they get a lot from Reddit, which is not ideal. Russian dev does not mean the game cannot be woke. Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.
At this point they would have to roll back femstodes, stop trying to shoehorn a female character into every role where there canonically could be one because could be doesnt mean there must be and then they would have to rally behind a giant banner with "white men are awesome, thankyou white men!" Written on it and have a little struggle session as to why they believe standing behind white men is important. And they better be enthusiastic about it. Anyone who objects to that message should be fired on the spot.

I am definitely still in the "wait and see" camp, but the game does look amazing! I have edged a bit closer to the buy it side of things.
The hype is real on my end. Haven't preordered yet however. Sweet joytoy collection btw. I collect also

11:10 Death Guard pre heresy color scheme pretty sure.
Might be wishful thinking on my part. Hard to tell if it’s dark green or dark steel 😂
2 other people... 3 total.

Doesnt matter, its the franchise thats the problem as long as its making money for gw
This game is so pretty. I hope my rig can run it.
0:00 🤔 You mean (the) *_W0KE-IST ❓_*
Can Space Marine 2 avoid the corrupting taint of woke?

Not a fucking cent to the people who hate us.
