Firefighter here. We do have ways of pulling water into the apparatus sort of like how its depicted in game. Though the hose is a bit different and its a fair bit more complicated than in and out.

Couldn't agree more. They created a Golden Age on TH-cam. Nobody has been able to replace them nor match them. Out of the 4 I find Woolie to be the best. I'm glad Castle Superbeast is a thing tho. A small taste of their former glory.

This was a game where I always felt like "I know what they're going for, and I like what they're going for, but man playing this is just not doing it for me." Murphey being the monster in someone else's story, and your moral choices deciding the truth of what kind of person he is, intrigues me and I think would work really well in a better executed game. There were several points in the game where I was just groaning because fighting anything is awful and there's so much fighting. Some of the side missions are pretty cool, though. Indeimaus didn't even talk about the sort of "fast travel system" shortcuts you unlock in Silent Hill (which ultimately serves no purpose because you don't stay in Silent Hill!) Always felt bad about DJ Ricks. You learn just enough about him to know he's trapped here for some reason, but you never find out what it is and as soon as you meet him he's grabbed by the ghoulie girls and you never see him again.
I thought it was a really cool idea that for once you weren't in your Silent Hill, you were in someone else's . It wasn't implemented the best but still it's leagues better than Homecoming.

I was literally typing "haven't seen a Lets Play of this since back when the Super Best Friends Zaibatsu was still a thing" and then you drop one of their best clips of the run. Good times, their videos are still worth checking out if you haven't ever seen their lets plays, even if they're off doing their own stuff now on streaming and other new TH-cam channels.

I tune in to all three, reggie brings alot of classic SBFP energy to woolie's LPs, Pat the goblin on stream he's always checking out neat games and Matt's high production series are always a treat. Also the woolie and pat podcast still has a some old energy left to it. I'm happy for all em including Liam.

What did you think of all the sidequests in the game? Personally, I think several of them are better than the main story. Like the one where you have to find the heart in the sewers by the sound of the heartbeat, and then after you find it you must run back out as all the monsters go wild.
Like, for such an uneven experience, the production quality of this game is absolutely insane. It just feels like it was a few tweaks away from becoming a 360-era classic. But as it stands, it will always be remembered as the one Silent Hill that could.

Honestly, this game has a LOT of problems, but I honestly don't think it's the worst one and thinkt here's actually some nice charm to it (if you can look past some glaring issues). Also, the secret bonus ending is just a fantastic end for what was the last entry in the series for years

The Shocktober outro song honestly never gets old, hell I remember when it was the normal outro, really takes me back. Excited for the rest of Shocktober as well as that 10 year anniversary baby! Feels like just yesterday I found the Top Ten Souls lists, keep up the great work.

As someone who can't seem to watch or play anything in the horror genre, I love the way you format your shocktober stuff. Makes it very accessible for people who want to know the story but can't because of the genre. Thank you so much for this month, and have fun playing.

Honestly, this game has a LOT of problems, but I honestly don't think it's the worst one and thinkt here's actually some nice charm to it (if you can look past some glaring issues). Also, the secret bonus ending is just a fantastic end for what was the last entry in the series for years
