  • Removing the radiator on a Kawasaki 454 LTD and flushing and cleaning it with Calcium, Lime, and Rust remover. PLEASE NOTE: The radiator on this bike is NOT original to the 454 and is in fact from an 80's Honda Shadow VT700.

I own one of these, 1986 original owner, 13,000 miles on it. Never dropped. Great bike! Still runs great!

This video was very helpful for someone who is not mechanically inclined in the least. I was not only shown the locations of the things that needed attention but how to do it as well. By being able to check the coolant resevoir and fill the radiator with fluids I am able to cross these areas off of my troubleshooting checklist. Thank you!

OK, when you say the left side of the radiator, where exactly? at a hose or on the radiator itself? My brother has a vulcan 750, I can look at his to help you figure it out

***** it was out the radiator itself,, but just shot out left side"thick white smoke" . I checked the coolant levels in the radiator and it seems ok, just not sure why the bike has completely died. Any help will be awesome
