Morris Museum Historic Preservation Plan Update From Tom Loughman, Executive Director

In this video, I am standing on the roof of the Museum, with a view of the roof of the Twin Oaks mansion which is currently being replaced. Our institution had the foresight nearly a decade ago to commission a historic preservation plan to guide the important, incremental work of stabilizing and preparing this historic 110-year-old mansion for its next century of service at the core of our 8 ½-acre campus. The work has gone exceptionally well through the fair autumn weather, and with any luck we will all be back together before springtime. Thank you for your support of this foundational step toward restoring dignity to this landmark structure.
Ambitions like Phase One take years to plan and a forward view of what kinds of spaces and places we need to thrive as an arts organization in service to you.
