I saw John Play that in Bloomington, IN a few times. He passed through a couple times in the 90s when a friend of mine booked a club called the Wild Beet where I played occasionally. That friend invited me to hang out with John and his entourage between shows. When I told John how I enjoyed his music, he replied in his low voice, " Thank you, you're easily entertained."

Billy has a great speaking and singing voice. His ability to sing like he's lived the lyrics sets him apart. He's incredible on guitar, and kudos to the banjo and bass players! The "Clarksville" instrumental was so tight!

Billy is about the best out there now and that band is incredible. A few years ago he was coming through Rhode Island a new billy and don Julian put on a show in my friend Charlie picked chicken barn, chickens and all. What a great show, so glad he is getting the good stuff now, great tallent .

Billy is fantastic!! I just recently became a fan. Other than the fact that he and his band are great musicians, is the passion I feel coming from them as I watch and listen. There are few that truly have that and fewer that can make the listener/ viewer feel their passion.
