Thank you for this insight. I have anecdotally heard that schools in bigger metropolitan cities like Toronto/Vancouver have better quality education than Edmonton and have better career outcomes for kids. So much so advising people move from Edmonton to such cities to provide better education.
Wondering if there's any truth to this overgeneralized statement?

How important is the community where you live with respect to getting into schools in Edmonton?

In the video we talk about how it may not play a factor depending on which school. Schools with high demand have lottery, some are just for the area. It’s not a consistent thing here.

Hello there! I am relocating to Edmonton from the US, but we currently do not have a PR/work visa. Will my kids still be able to attend public schools? Also, I hope I don’t come off as disrespectful, but in terms of curriculum, I am terrified of gender ideology being taught to children. I completely and vehemently have a huge issue with it. If it’s a thing here in the US, I would imagine it will be a thing in Canada as well and if that’s the case I am going to take the online school route. Just asking in case you know the answer of whether or not it is taught in schools… I have a 1st grader, a kindergartener and a toddler who will be home with me. Thank you!
