    Ronnie is too arrogant. No doubt he is the best. But when Judd make 147 Ronnie never go congrats Judd and shake his hand.

      He had a point there, a protest for the decision to no longer reward maximum breaks.

      @Salman Patel I have read that the sponsorship is complicated because it is not sure to have 0, 1 or 3 maxis in a tournament.
      Actually, there is a prize: £1M if they make 20 in a season. But the highest in history is 13 (2016/17 season), with an average of 10 maxis per season in the last decade.

    • @Marcus__Trance
      @Marcus__Trance ปีที่แล้ว +9

      @@CesarMuroya Simple fix is have your high break prize as usual. But also have a minimum prize of 30k even in smaller events. If 2 or more get a 147 it just gets shared like the high break prize does. This way at least there's a carrot for risking staying on the black at the possible cost of not winning the frame. It also gives all the players something to go for from round 1.

    The bar can hardly go higher than this, and one can definitely see that at this level the tiniest mistake can tilt the balance in one or other direction. It is then all about consistency and concentration. What a treat!! the beauty these two put into their game is rare, they make it look extremely easy and that makes it so admirable.
    I think: had Judd had the chance of continuing playing when he had that good momentum everything could have happened, at least I had that impression, the stop before the final miniset was key in my opinion. That said, Judd missed a couple off important pots and that, at this level and against such an adversary, has a price.

    Where was the torsion applied on that extension? Torsion is twisting the object around its longitudinal axis due to torque. There was not torque. If there was then Ronnie would have been twisting his hand while delivering the cue which wasn’t the case. I don’t even know what did you mean by torsion in that case when there wasn’t any rotational motions

    • @CesarMuroya
      @CesarMuroya  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Weight creates torsion in the coupling mechanism. It is also generated by your hand and chin while feathering. Torque can be present regardless of motion (linear or rotational).
